EE Question

In all of my trips, we have never used early entry. I remember reading that the park that offers early entry will be the most crowded park on that day, so we have always avoided the EE park and arrived at opening at another park, thinking that we will deal with less crowds at another park. Is this theory accurate? How is EE? Is it worth it? Do CM's check for resort ID's? We will be visiting in mid-Augst and I'm wondering ifI should use EE or not. I'd love to hear some reccomndations. Our standard plan is to use EE at MK and then bug outta there if it gets too crowded. If you get there at start of EE at MK, you can do in 60 minutes as much as it'll take 3 hours to do later.

We used EE 5/5 days this past week. I think it was worth it - my DSs wanted to sleep by the end of the week - so I just met them at the parks. We left the EE park around 1 and went back to another park around 5 each day after a nap or swim.

Consider E-Ride night. We loved them! Did it 2 times and rode the biggies till we were dizzy and silly at 1:00 in the morning!

We did EE our whole trip except for Epcot EE day (just didn't think it was worth getting up early for!)...So we got up early mon/tues then slept in Wed, then did EE Thurs/Fri.....Our 2 DSs weren't overly tired by getting up an hour early and we got everything done by noon (w/out "commandoing" the parks!!) each day and were leaving the park as large crowds were streaming in. Then, after our pool/nap break at the resort we headed to a different, non-EE park...worked like a charm!! As related to EE I think the old saying "you snooze you lose" is sooooo relevant!!
