Are there bus problems for EE at MK from BWV? (I know, silly question, like does a bear go in the woods, right?) I only ask because someone posted that the MK/EE bus didn't come until 7:15. This is a MAJOR part of our plan our first full day. Last year we whipped through fantasyland in 2 hours, but we were at the Poly and just hopped on the monorail. I had planned to get to the bus stop at 6:45, but now I'm worried it won't be early enough. Anyone with recent experience? We're 5 weeks out today! :pinkbounc :bounce: :pinkbounc :bounce:

We had a mixed experience with the EE bus at BWV. We went the last week in April, and while the parks were not crowded, we did have a bad experience with the EE buses. We did EE at MK that Monday and Thursday. On Monday, the bus arrived at 6:55 (we watched it from our window), and we didn't get down there until 7:00, having been told the buses start running at 7:00. The next bus didn't arrive until 7:45! Two buses in between skipped our stop because they were full from the other resorts. A "bus on demand" wasn't called until after the second bus bypassed us.

I'm not going to tell you how I felt - you can imagine.

We arrived at MK at 8:00, and of course there was already a wait at the most popular rides.

On Thursday, the buses weren't full, and a bus arrived about 7:10, which got us to the MK in plenty of time to be early through the gates.

So if it's not too crowded and you get down there by 7:00, you'll have no trouble getting to MK before opening. But if you have a crowded day, either drive a car or walk over to the resorts at the start of the bus line where you'll be sure to get on a bus.

Good luck!

Robin, Yes, we did have a problem with EE buses. I was so angry. We got up at 5:30 to be ready to be AT the bus stop at 7:00. (We actually arrived a few minutes early.) There were people waiting who had been there already 15 minutes. No bus had come. The first bus that arrived was at 7:15 -- full already from YC/BC, etc. The next bus was at 7:20. Lines were still no problem at EE, but it was a bit of a disappointment for us. Here's what I've decided to do next time: I'm going to stop at the guest services desk on the way out to the bus stop. I'm going to ask them to call bus services and request a bus for EE at the BoardWalk. (We eventually got an empty bus because someone DID go up to guest services to complain. I think if we complain pre-emptively we might have better luck!)

That said, I will tell you that bus service at BW was not what I hoped it would be, but I think Disney is really just having some major problems with the buses right now. It was pretty apparent from the lines and other people complaining that they were having bus problems throughout the resort. I was just glad I didn't have to take the buses to all the parks. (Having that boat service to EPCOT and MGM was very helpful.)

We loved our trip! We're convinced that the DVC purchase was one of the best purchases we've ever made. Hope you have a good trip. Can't wait to hear about it!
