Educate me on the Lime Green Mickey Head

Okay, this is something we've never actually done, and I've never seen any other LGMH DISers at Disney either. Happened to be at Home Depot on Monday so I grabbed a few LGMHs for us. What exactly do I do with it? Put it on the lanyards? Backpacks?

Educate me!

Some people decorate them and put their username on them. I have never seen one at DL but have seen plenty at WDW. You can attach it to whatever you are carrying around in the park...daybag, camera etc

haha, i just answered this in how to identify my stroller! lol we snagged a few, dh laminated them hrs before we left, adn i punched holes in them, got there and tied them with ribbon to my stroller so we'd know it was ours.

and i looked and looked for them when we were there, and no one around us had them either. it made me sad! lol

In 2 trips to WDW i only saw 2 other people with LGM

I did it on our last trip....actually got noticed at least three times that I can remember, including in line at Soarin'. My DH didn't know what was going on when the lady leaned over and asked me if I "Dised"! She and I even corresponsed on here when we got back (Hi GoofyMama! ) Make sure you put your DisBoards name on your LGMHs and if you're decorating your resort room window put one on there too...we got a "Hello" note from a fellow Disser in our door as a result of that.

Just adds another element of fun to your vacation. Don't get too disappointed though if you don't spot anyone or get spotted...remember the Dis is big but WDW is bigger!

I have several LGMH's. I glue them back to back and laminate them. Kids each have some I have 1 on my Lowepro Slingshot back pack and I hang one on my mirror in the truck. I have been spotted at disney with it. I dont remember who. I did have several people ask me about them and explained about this website. They didnt even know it was here. They do now. I even had someone leave a note on my van a couple of years back all they wrote was ( fellow diser ) That was in a Home Depot parking lot near my house. I thought that was cool. Oh yeah I also have a couple of team focker watch landyards with the LGMH on them. (team focker watch) ( do a search on here you will understand)

we decorated our rental car with all different colored mickey heads! and then i wore my mickey heads on my lanyard and attached to my daybag.

Using LGMH is also popular over on the Camping Board to identify each other at the campsites. They are pretty creative with signs and such! I plan to make up a few small ones and do as other posters have said to attach to the camera bag and backpack/purse. Definitely include your username!

I have a question, is there a "correct" lime green to use? I couldn't find one actually called "lime green" at the HD, so I picked out "Sonic Boom" and "Alien Green". Both are a bit lighter than a true lime green.

The "official" one seems to be Alien Green.

We had them on our door on our DCL cruise, and there were plenty around. Also put one on my dashboard here around home for a while--think I might`ve seen one or two around Halifax.
