Eduational IPad Apps for big kids

I have been trying to find some apps for my 11 y.o. ds that are educational and fun. I am finding tons of games or activities, but not much for the older elementary age range. Tons for little ones. Any suggestions? I am looking for language arts type activities.

not language arts, but my kids (10 and 15) both love Stack the States. There's also Stack the Countries, a little harder, but still lots of fun for geography.
