ECV Rentals

Does anyone know if Disney has a weekly rental price for renting and ECV? What is the daily price also if anyone knows?

I don't think that they have weekly rentals. My dad had to rent one on our November 03 trip. We rented from a company off-site. They delivered to the ECV to the Polynesian the day of their arrival and it was waiting for him when my parents checked in. The morning they checked out, they just gave it to the baggage/luggage attendants and the company picked it up. It was $30 per day.

I did a search on these boards and there was a post with all the info you'll need. I think it came from the DISabilities board.

The nice thing about getting one from an off-site place was that we had it all of the time. At the hotel, other parks and we never had to wait to rent one.

If you rent an ECV in the park, it cannot leave the park. We got ours at Randy's Rentals, they were super.

You can follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES Board and find out anything you need to know about ecvs.
The ones in the parks are first come, first served and can't be reserved ahead of time, so if you get to the park and they are already all rented out, you will have to settle for a wheelchair. If you park hop, there may or may not be one at the next park. Some people recently have posted that the CMs at the first park called ahead and made sure there was one, but that might only be something they do at certain times of the year when they aren't too busy.

[Lollipop Mom]

We rented one for my Mom from Randy's during our trip last month and were very happy with them as well. They are $30 or $150 for a week so you save some if you need it for more than 5 days. She loved having it. Very convenient for her. I wouldn't hesitate to rent one again.
