ECV rentals in parks

I will need to rent an ECV part of the time we are in the world (walking issues). I looked at a couple of Disney sites and I know the cost but is it cash or credit card only. I looked on the Disney site and they talk about a "refundable" amount on a credit card. So will they accept cash or just credit cards only??

Post #2 deals with rentals of wheelchairs and ECVs. It gives Disney's rates as well as information about off-site vendors who people here have been used and been happy with.
