Nightmare!!! I've done some inspiration gathering, will definitely buy fabric to cover the seat and make some other accessories. I saw an adult Sally costume on a website on hale today but it was too $ for this. It would look cool though, I imagined putting it over the seat, like the seat back is the bodice? Sewing uo the arms and letting the skirt fall over and around the seat. Bt I will figure out somehitng! Here's some inspiration...
Oh my goodness I love your concept so muchly much!!! WONDERFUL! Hm...did you check Amazon for the dress? What about checking your local thrift store for a dress that you could customize to make the Sally dress? I also found.. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Sally-Costume-from-the-Nightmare-Before-Christmas also

Oh I intend to make a few outfit for my kids, I am afraid of taking on too much as far as making my own Sally stuff but I will save it in case I find myself more able :). I am going to put some black fake "greenery" on the basket and hang ornaments I think? Have to be careful I might go overboard

@ammag: Hey! I *love* your ideas - putting that bodice over the seat back, and then using the skirt over the seat - let's just say our DD (21 & HUGE "Nightmare" fan) will be all over that idea for her chair! :)

My little scooter is a TravelScoot. I was very fortunate - I found a used one for sale, which is kind of rare, actually! I personally know a couple of other TS users who keep their "old" TravelScoots either as a backup, or keep one in the house, and one in the car... Anyway, there are sometimes one or two on eBay, or if you are in a large city, one will occasionally pop up on CraigsList, but overall finding a used one is a fairly rare event.

Fully tricked out, a new "Deluxe" model will probably be around $3000. I got my used one (with an extra battery!) for $1400, but it is the "original" model that does not have reverse (so I have to "Fred Flintstone" when I need to back up LOL) and uses a drive belt, instead of a direct-drive motor. The belt is super easy to change - I can do it easily in 5 minutes or less myself with the tools I keep in my battery bag.

Without me on it (I'm a 3L - Lovely Large Lady!) my scooter weighs just 35 pounds. If I put one of the back seats down in my Kia Soul, I can load Angus in fully assembled, and away we go! I have Lithium-Ion batteries, and I ran all day at WDW on just one - except for one memorable day when we went from an 8:00 am Crystal Palace breakfast until somewhere around 1:30 am the next morning. (It was our DD 21st birthday - there was LOTS of celebrating, all over WDW to do that day!)

I did put a "CrampBuster" on the throttle - it uses a twist throttle, like a motorcycle, so that helps make it MUCH easier to drive. And you saw the lights... ;)

BTW - I named him Angus, after Princess Merida's trusty steed, because he always brings me home, safe and sound, from our adventures! :)

Anyway, you can learn more about it at the company's website here. LMK if you have any questions - I'll be glad to answer them! :)
