EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

A lot of the museums in London are free entrance ..... check out the Natural History Museum, The Science Museum, The Museum of London, The British Museum. Another good thing to do is take a boat trip up the Thames. You will see a lot of the important sights from the river and it is great way to travel. When visiting London a West End Show is a must ... TKTS is a good place to get discounted tickets on the day, from the booth in the middle of Leicester Square. You can also apply for free tickets to the Ceremony of the Keys at The Tower of London ... happens every night when the Tower is locked up for the night. http://www.hrp.org.uk/TowerOfLondon/WhatsOn/theceremonyofthekeys This is am amazing experience.

Not So (Totally Angelic) Is right there's lots to do, right from one tube station South Kensington you get three museum. The Natural History, The Victoria and Albert and Science Museum and you can pop into Harrods also. Don't forget Churchill War Rooms either. You can also visit the Houses of Parliment if your interested, that didn't cost anything either.

A good web site is visit London, they often have 2 for one ticket deals on various attractions. Last year to qualify you had to have a British Rail ticket so people took a short journey from two stations to qualify.

Is there anyone there. Lol

This is going to be a very quiet cruise.

:wave2:

It is very quiet on here. I think most people are just posting on facebook because they can get live updates. I do check here daily though to see if anything is going on.

Only 74 days until I leave for the airport.

Trust the cruise line will do something special on EBTA to celebrate the 24 hour opening of Disney Parks on 24th to 25th May with 140 Disney characters.

Regards

Chris and Yvonne

I have just finished ironing and packing the boys clothes for the cruise.

Trying to keep things at a minimum as I plan to use the laundry facilities. I just weighed their case, and it weighs only 11 kgs. :cool1:

My sons might start at that weight though I suspect after a week in Orlando the cases will have filled up somewhat with all the shopping. :):)

Hi Everyone -

This is Kristi. Me and my two DD's just reserved this cruise. We did the 2010 WBTA and the first Hawaii cruise and had planned on doing the WBTA this year as well but I just switched us to the EBTA...mostly because we need a vacation and don't want to wait until September! So we are looking forward to meeting everyone and doing the fish extender if it's not too late to join. Thank you!

Curious if there will be any other infants on the cruise? My youngest daughter will be 10 months so I'm interested in hearing any reviews of the new Small World nursery. Unfortunate that the prices went up so much recently... Does anyone have any idea if it's tough to get last minute reservations? Is there usually space for walk ins? It's tough to predict at which point in the cruise I will need a break. Thanks!!

Kristi

Hi, My husband and I are on the May Transatlantic cruise to Barcelona also. Does anyone know if there's free wifi at any places at the Ports (castaway cay, funchal, malaga) like a Starbucks. After we finish our sight-seeing, we might want to sits with a drink and peruse the internet some.

Hi there, firstly welcome!

Wifi is not free on Castaway Cay you just get the Disney package as per the ship I understand, however I know some people get cellular use age. As for Madeira is all over the main town street, they have large free wifi signs all over. As for Malaga I bet it will be easily available also.
