I think this is primarily because the Facebook page is so active. It's much easier to post on there than on here. If you have a Facebook account, give it a try!

Sorry, but facebook is NOT an option for us. We have had Internet privacy issues in the past, so we don't do any social networking.

If that's our only option to communicate, then we aren't going to know about any activities. We are signed up for FE, but have not heard word one about them ever since.

I am a total newbie - how do I get to the Cruise Meet page for this trip?

As for excitement, I just heard that the premiere of "Maleficent" is May 30! Which means we will probably get a Prem-EAR at sea for this!

So looking forward to it! The cast looks great - Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley!

I imagine things will pick up as we get closer and the excitement grows. I do think FB has taken over a lot though, as it is so much easier using FB groups. Hopefully people will post over here though for those who don't not use FB.

I was given a FB account by my DW, without my blessing, and I understand that people favour FB over Dis but I am a traditionalist and enjoyed using this Dis for over 13 years. The fact that I don't know how to use FB doesn't really help either. One good thing was to see DebsIA face in the flesh so to speak the other day and to see others peoples post and photos from around the world, that's neat.

I must admit I like both formats but do feel a bit sad that FB may well herald the end of the popularity of forums like this one.

Very funny Mr Kay but I am afraid with baggage restrictions I am limited to one suitcase only, but you are indeed correct in that there may be the occasional lime green item coming with me.

I would like to commandeer both suitcases, but it wouldn't go down well with Tony. On the topic of my lime green obsession, it is clearly rubbing off on Tony, who was actually considering buying a lime green cummerband and bow tie the other day, until I reminded him that he had a Mickey Mouse one and there wouldn't be room for 2 in the suitcase.

Not started actual packing but have started virtual packing with the aid of Mary's fantastic spreadsheet.

Thanks for this link - it really helped? I didn't realize we had a web page, but I haven't read through this entire thread in quite some time. We were on the EBTA last year, and I subscribed to this thread way back after we booked onboard last May.

I am now starting to think about transport from the port to the airport. My flights are 11:45am from T1. I have put a shout out on facebook and I have put my name to the EBTA sign up area. I just thought it would be good to start getting an idea on how many people would like to share transport so we could get it organised.

Hello!

We are planning a few days in London after the cruise.

I'm wondering in any of our friends in the UK can suggest a some websites that we can use to get London tour and attraction tickets at a cheaper cost before we arrive.

We would like to visit the Tower of London for sure. We have also been looking at day trip out of London that takes to Warwick Castle, Oxford, and Stratford upon Avon. There is a tour that will include the entrance fees to all of these sites, but you can also join the tour and not pay the fees until you go on the tour. Since it's just the three of us (2 adults, and 1 child), we weren't sure if we wanted to go to all of the sites, or whether our 6 year old would be tired, etc.

We'd really like to go to Warwick Castle, but the entry fee seems high. I was just wondering if there were some local websites, or perhaps some local discounts that our UK friends might be privy to.
