Hello everyone.
We booked this while on the EBTA and are really hopeful that we can make it! We are also booked on an Alaskan in June of next year, we can only do one or the other. The Alaskan is after our girls are out of school, but we'd really prefer the EBTA. Just waiting until the new school year starts to see if it'll be a problem to take them out. It wasn't a problem this year, but one never knows if things will change. In any case, we'll cancel the Alaskan if we end up being able to swing this cruise
It will be me, DH and our twin girls who will be nine, almost ten, on the EBTA. It will be the fifth cruise for each of us. We are super excited to see the new Disney Magic
We loved this year's EBTA, it was our first TA. We followed it with the first Med. We loved our cruise meet group and didn't actually do much with them, but loved seeing them around. There were a TON of activities that folks planned, it was really cool. And MandyGirl got a fantastic personal navigator together for us that showed all the activities.
We spent this cruise mostly just hanging out and hitting the pool. (I'm happy to report that I never once got in the pool. But my husband had to get in every day with the girls.)
I am fine with category we have now. I was just surprised that a week prior there were lots of 11B rooms and now there are none. I was having a hard time finding a room that was available on this and the first Mediterranean since we are doing a B2B I didn't want to pack up and move to a different room.
I am sure the rooms are filling up with that 20% off deal being offered, wish I was sailing soon
We were originally booked in different rooms for our EBTA and Med. A few months before the EBTA left my TA contacted us and said that one of the rooms was no available for both legs and did I want to move? Yes! So even though it looked as if we'd have to change, the room did open up closer to sailing. I think it may have been after the PIF date, so keep checking.
We just returned from that 2013 EBTA and booked this cruise on board as well!
We really had a great time, and the sea days made it wonderful!
Can't thank everyone enough for organizing activities for it - it was truly a group effort!
Hello dinner mate! We were lucky enough to eat with the Viking_53 family each night. It was super
Well, hopefully we can met on this cruise! Did you get your certificate? If not, I can email it to you. Just let me know. So glad you stayed motivated! I was amazed at how many people were active. And your welcome for the card, I had fun making them (and using leftover wedding supplies).
If there are no other takers, I could be in charge of the running/walking club again.

Maybe next year I'll make it more often! But maybe not

. I mentioned on another thread htat I managed to be on the boat eating like a pig for 21 days and I didn't gain any weight! (I did have some bloat from the salty food that was gone after a day.) I only managed to do my walking on deck four five times or so. But what really worked for us was that we booked a room on the first deck and vowed to never use the elevator. It was easier than I anticipated. The girls never used the elevator and I used it five times: twice when I had too much food to carry, twice when with someone in a wheelchair and once when with the captain and I didn't think I should tell him we had to take the stairs. I think I must have run up to deck 9 at least five times a day just to get

We plan on staying on deck one again.
(And for anyone wondering, it was fantastic. Super quiet on the EBTA. On the Med there was an obnoxious family across from us that was yelling and running in the halls past midnight every night.)
Now I have a reason to tell my DH why were can't cancel this cruise, I am in charge of something!

for sure, I guess he is hooked now! I knew that if he enjoyed this first one then he would not be able to resist. Just need to work out flights, prices and everything else to seal the deal.
I will be watching these boards for tips and information on best airports and prices. I am wondering how awful
dcl flight prices are? Will have to get a quote from them.
I am also waiting for my email from DCL about my on board booking and my DU TA. I can see the booking on the dcl website, so that is a relief.
We used Disney Air this year and it was $1174. That flew us from the PNW to TX, put us in a hotel for the night, transfers to the port, then transfers to BCN and from BCN back home. For next year we have it scheduled and it's $1386

But it includes air to MCO, a night at the Hyatt and transfers. We'll look for something better, but we'll keep Disney Air in case we don't find something better.
Love this! But, wondering if the design on the Tshirt might be better on the back for us, um.......

, busty ladies.
:
Hello Angie - If it works out with this company we could certainly put the image on the back of the shirt. We could also put a large image on the back and a small emblem on one side of the front on the upper part of the chest. They also have tee shirts with pockets. Thinking as I write, maybe we would want to pick a color and image and everyone could pick which shirt type and image position works best for them.
Love those ones. I know my husband would like one. It's a shame they didn't want to print it like that.
