EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

Welcome !

:welcome:

What was your favorite part of your Med cruise?

Thanks!

Hmmmm . . . to many to count.

I think being on the inaugural cruise to Greece and Turkey was pretty cool. Lots of festivities - special Greece bandana at the sail away party, an "OPA!" party with cheesy paper olive branch wreaths to wear on your head when we were there in port.

Also, in Pisa, we just happened to be there on the Feast Day for their patron saint Rimaldi (June 17), and got to see an elaborate procession with 5 bishops for the Mass!

:welcome: also shocked main seating is full so early on but looking at the dcl site the cruise seems to be selling pretty well, get yourself added to the wait list and I'm sure you'll get main as people cancel nearer the time :)

We prefer second dining, so we are good!

We are also just back from med cruise with greece and have booked this cruise for next year how do I join the group?

Hi Claire! It will be great to see you again. Can you believe the difference in price for this cruise? We couldn't resist! :yay:

You're in :goodvibes. Do you mean join the FE? Or the FB page? Or just our group in general? Posting on here makes you golden. But to put your name on the roll call, join the FE or the FB, check out post number one of this thread, it has links for those things.
Thanks!

:thumbsup2 Sounds pretty fun!

Mary-I have no doubt it was in self defense! Just as it will be in self defense if Stevie tries to steal your booze! I am looking forward to meeting you.

I would pay good money to see Stevie attend in a pink dress, he looked pretty good in a pink crown and pink feather boa!

That's a great pic of you all, poor Stevie :rotfl2:

Looking forward to meeting you too, Stevie's been telling me all the stories from the cruise :lmao:

How exciting! Who would like to link for dinner? I'd like to sit with people we are aquatinted with.

Jennifer :moped:

Jennifer, Stevie and I are already at a full table for 12 on this cruise, our friends from WBTA 2011 all booked too in February.

good idea.. maybe the promenade longue?? Are they changing it to something else??

I haven't heard anything about promenade drastically changing, that would be a good option

I've been looking for the Champagne Girls sign-up link but have been unsuccessful. The link on the FB page doesn't work for me.

We are getting ready to head off to Vancouver for the 7-8 Alaska cruise on the Wonder. Looking forward to that.

Got the shirt back from the new company. I think for the additional price and the fact I had to de-disney the image we should either stay with Vista Print or look for another company. Will continue to explore possibilities.

no worries. I got you covered , you are on the LIST.

Thanks

Have a great time in Alaska. I loved it and want to go back but other cruises just keep getting my attention. LOL

Does anyone know if they have daily spa passes available on the transatlantics? I have heard that they are now only selling full cruise packages with day passes only on port days...

Hi there,

I take it you are refering to the rainforest room then yes, they do both. On the last EBTA 2013 the price was $159 for the 14 night cruise and the day pass was something like $15. I was peeved that many of the rooms didn't function correctly as before and the Spa staff had no joy in getting the engineer to sort it. A little word in the ear of the captain and 2nd in command at the Castaway Club meeting soon sorted it, the rest of the trip was all working well. I hope this gets a big make over soon.

Airfare for air Lingus for May 31 released today. Haven't compared to others yet but was our best option 2 years ago flying home to Boston.

Hi There, :wave2:

DH and I just got off the Venice Med cruise and signed up for this one on board. I am looking forward to it. :thumbsup2. I will spend the next few months reading the thread and getting caught up with everything you have planned.

We have booked this cruise, and look forward to sailing with you. We are Woody & Anne from Los Angeles.

Woody

I hope this is the same Woody I met at LAX on our way to Houston for the EBTA 2013! We had so much fun, we booked 2014 too!

Debbie (AKA Ellie Fredrickson)

I was thinking that too.:)

Lots of sunshine in the UK (for a change) so everyone on this little old Island must be in shock!

I think you're right .... the weather is gorgeous right now and so unexpected .. making the most of it working in the garden and taking walks in the evening. :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

We were on the EBTA 2013 . . . . you may have noticed the "pink haired" girl who got married on Pirate Night . . . that was our daughter and her new husband! We had such a wonderful time, we booked for next year and can't wait. This is my first time on the Disboards. I met so many fun people onboard who use it, I thought I would give it a try!

:welcome: and congratulations to your daughter and her husband! (We were on that cruise with you and didn't notice a wedding.)

Just got off the Mediterranean cruise with Venice and booked this cruise for next year! It will be me (Bonnie), DH (Carl), my mom (Linda) and aunt (Josephine).

We are super excited for the long stretch of sea days as our Mediterranean cruise was so busy we hardly had any time to enjoy the Magic.

I believe we will be doing the FE exchange and added ourselves to the list.

I am also interested in some of the group tastings, but want to talk with other members of my family first to see who is interested. Maybe champagne girls, chocolate tasting and mixology!

This will be our 7th Disney cruise and we are addicted!

Can't wait to meet everybody!

:welcome: to those joining us.

I've just been too busy to log on here, as disney mam said we've been enjoying some lovely weather in the UK which as everyone knows is a real rarity :goodvibes

Hope everyone's keeping well as we're approaching the 10 month mark so looking forward to this cruise and would love to try the spa this time around, our first cruise was the 7night med sailing and just didn't get chance. Does anyone from previous transatlantic's remember if they offered any good deals for the spa?
