My husband Gary and myself Arlene (ArGa) and my dad Syd are planning to share a table of 8 with John and Liz (Decked out) for the early seating. If John and Liz don't mind, I would love it if you could arrange for our table to be close by to the other Dis boarders. Are you ok with that Decked Out?

I was hoping that you would see Jeff's post. Hope it works out that we are all near each other. Now to find you another couple or group of 3.

Hey Everyone - you have been a busy group - we just returned from the 5-night DCL Canada cruise from NYC. It was just DH and I (first trip without any kids in 23 years) We had a great time, but I felt guilty the whole time leaving DD(14) at home. Weather was amazing - not a drop of rain and no site of Hurricane Leslie. Halifax and St John are beautiful cities. We had amazing tablemates that we met on the Meet thread. We were on the Magic, so it was a nice warm up for the Wonder.

Going back now to see what I missed

FE Exchange Update ​

Just a quick shout out to those participating in the exchange - we are up to 63 cabins - please check the online spreadsheet for the updated count.

There is still time to join us - see page one for the details.

Our cutoff date is quickly approaching - October 9th - for those who are panicking about the size, please don't - we will spilt the group in some way to try to keep to size managable for everyone (well at least the majority).

So I did a trial run/prototype of the adult FE gifts tonight. Since each FE is time consuming, which I don't mind, I don't want to put the time in if someone else is doing the same gift. I also don't want to take away the surprise of our gift. So if any one else's FE gifts involve sewing, PM me and maybe we can discuss and see if it's the same thing. Oh mine has nothing to do with shirts or bags if that helps.

So I had an extremely busy day at work inspecting a crew that was watching concrete set. Somehow I managed to find the time to read some PC trip reports on my phone, thanks to the dis app. Not quite sure how I managed that! I read a report where a dis group did a “Shot through the Ship” meet, where they went to every bar on the ship one night and got a drink. This sounded like a ton of fun for this party girl! After all, I did graduate from the current #1 party school in the nation! And I am pretty sure I have never seen all the bars on the Wonder. So does this sound like a fun idea to anyone? Is there any interest? Would anyone want to participate? I was thinking we could call it “Sip through the Ship”. I am going to start saving some OT money for this!

Sounds fun! I don't think I could have 6 drinks in a single night though. Someone would have to carry me back to my room and make sure they picked my kids up from the Kids Club before midnight! Maybe we could order a few drinks and split them? Might be a good way to try new drinks.

I understand that not all of you will be able to keep up with a MOUNTAINEER! Sharing drinks sounds fun and water can always be a drink selection at a few of the bars. And don't worry, sadly 6 drinks will not due me in and I'll remember your kids since I will have to remember my sister's! Last time I got her drunk on the Wonder, she couldn't remember their names, needless to say, I pick them up that night!

Does anyone with early seating and younger kids want to join our table? It is myself, DH and DS5. DS and DH will have just celebrated birthdays, so DS will be a young 5. He becomes best friends with everyone and would love to share meals with friends.

Leave it blank and give them to the Captain all together. Will be much easier for him and us, which would mean there'd need to be a Certificate Hand Out meet set up.

You have been added to the list. Ordering instructions forthcoming.

I am glad the group is agreeing that it's best for me to give the certificates to the Captain at the beginning of the cruise, and we'll plan a meet to hand them out later in the cruise.

I believe at 75 posts it will automatically change to "Mouseketeer", and you can customize it then. At 500 posts, it automatically changes to "Dis Veteran".

What if we did it as part of a mini cabin crawl and we took a shot at each cabin? I'd bring a couple bottles of Butterscotch Schnapps or pre mix a jug of Oatmeal Cookies. Too bad jello shooters wouldn't last cuz that would be fun too! Boy could that turn into a cabin crawl. What's everyone's favorite shot?

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

There's also the Cadillac Lounge or it's equivelent (can't remember whether Cadillac is on the Wonder or the Magic) It's the piano bar. Also, there's a bar up by the kids pool, and one outside by the adult pool.

A big group (35-40) started the "pub crawl" on the Transatlantic, this time last year. There was only 1 woman and about 5 guys standing at the end. I took the group photo to start with, but did not participate otherwise. (I'd rather spend my empty calories on desserts!)

Off to the gym.

Our servers were Bradford and Clara (the best team we have had out of 6 cruises) they were AWESOME and Made was a our room steward - he did a great job as well.

On the top left of the page you can see a link for "user CP". Click that and then on the left hand side you will see a link for "edit your details". Click on that link and you will see where you can "custom user title". You can change it to anything you wish.
