We don't fly out until Saturday, sadly. I wanted to fly out Friday at the latest, to let the kids' schedules adjust before getting on board, but I don't have the vacation time. Plus, reporting is due on the 5th working day of the month, so I'll probably be working late Friday, right before our 6:30 am flight Saturday morning.

I can't remember who mentioned your coworkers dropping off & picking you up - but you sure have some nice coworkers! We're spending about $250 round trip on cabs to the airport in Newark. One of our neighbors offered, but I didn't want to pull her out of bed at 3:30 am.

We were going to fly out of Newark, but we saved enough flying out of Philly that we can pay our cab driver friend to take us there. Unfortunately, we have to be in Philly by 5 AM!!!! We told him to pick us up around 3. I think I'll just spend Friday sleeping here at my desk in my office. I wonder if anyone would notice !

It was me! I have been blessed with the greatest co-workers, they have helped me move, take down trees in the yard, remodel the house and so much more. They are one of the reasons I LOVE coming to work. I will have to bring back some surprises for them but $250 is a lot of drinks of the days!

Regarding the girls, recall that Linda's (adnil50) daughter is no longer going on the cruise. I've updated the FE list to reflect that as well.

Deck 8 is the high $$ deck. There are no inside staterooms up there.

It is a lot - I'm due south from work though, and all my coworkers are due north, so I can't really expect them to drive over an hour just to pick me up and take me to EWR. But, thanks to my work travel, we booked this airfare for $20 ($5 each for taxes). I can't complain about $250 when I saved $3K in airfare!

We're also catching a very early flight out of Philly (Thursday). Since it's a 2 hr. drive, we're spending Wed. night near the airport and leaving the car at the hotel. We booked through BuyReservations.com, which offers a variety of "Park, Stay, and Fly" pkgs. The prices are decent (much less than $250!!!). I know there are similar pkgs. for Newark, since we did the same thing when we flew out of EWR for the past two TA cruises. Just another option . Of course, we didn't/don't have fabulous friends who will cart us to the airport in the middle of the night!

Went to print my labels and magnets and my printer has run out of ink. Arghhhhh!!!! Will have to get out to get ink tomorrow.

Starting to panic a bit about flying in the day off the cruise. Most of my brain knows that it will be fine (we get there about 10:30) but the rest of my brain thrives on anxiety. And of course I'm jealous of those who get to spend some holiday time at Disneyland!

Think about what's above the middle of Deck 8 --> POOLS in the deck, as well as bars / food establishments that all have to be serviced. That's what occupies the space that would normally be inside cabins.

I'm planning to give the few extra FE's I have too the White Rabbit latecomers group, so I'm trying to figure out who is no longer on the "Minnie" list.

Holula has been taken off the updated "Minnie" group list. Are they no longer cruising?

adnil530 still cruising? Thought I just saw a post about someone from that group not cruising. Can someone enlighten me?

I noticed Tammy is still on the Minnie list. Should I give the FE I planned for them to one of the latecomers since I only have a few extras?

We stayed on the 8th floor once, right under the ping pong tables or foosball tables. Couldn't really hear anything from the food areas, just that darn ball hitting the deck. Never again, we prefer slumming on the 5-7th floors.
