I will be sewing over the next few days and have enough fabric to make a few extra Fish Extenders. Does anyone still need one?

They will be free with two or three pockets depending on what fabric I use... I can make a "Cars" theme, Toy Story, Tinkerbell and maybe a little mermaid. I have a Hanna Montana already made.

That is so nice of you. If you do have an extra one we would love a proper FE. We were planning to use Christmas stockings but these are better. Any of them would be great for us, except Hannah Montana, Little Mermaid or Tink being first choices. Thanks so much.

The general consensus on the main board seems to be that Disney will take extra money. Especially considering how many verandah rooms are left, I can't imagine not being able to ask for an upgrade. GL!

Oh, I love Enid Blyton. I think I have most all of her books/series that I have collected since I was a child on our visits to England and Holland. My brother just returned from Turkey and brought me 2 compilations. I already have the stories, but I was so touched that he saw them and thought of me. I may be borrowing a book or two to read during the trip.
To those of you with kids, her stories are great for both sexes. Adventure stories with preteens as the main characters.

I love the Ariel one, but I think DH wouldn't. We found a Christmas letter holder at Bed/Bath and Beyond that works just like a FE, so that is what we are using this cruise. Hope it is big enough for the many cabins in the group!

We are in dining rotation 3 with you and Chrissy too. I just don't know who is at what table. I think we're with Coke_Zero because they have a teenage daughter too. That would make 8 of us. Tammy use to be with us and I think we have another couple, just don't remember who. I think it's mug318ca but I can't keep up and to many posts to go back through. The days are flying by. Yes. We're in this group somewhere. Don't know who we are sitting with. If the EBPC website is any indication, we are sitting at least with SoCalCrew.

Still looking for volunteers for S/Cat. 2, T/Cat. 3, Cat. 4 and Cat. 7.

I will be asking about an upgrade to T but when given the price I will probably just laugh it off and stick with my porthole.

As far as money, we have been hording 1's, 5's, and 10's. Don't think we will have success paying for things in cash with anything higher than a 20. We had no trouble with this scheme the last time we were in Cabo and PV.

Regarding upgrades...I booked a VGT room for our Sept cruise and was able to upgrade at the port! Like a pp said, Disney likes to make money so I'm sure there will be lots if upgrades available at the port.

Hey...I will host a book exchange bag outside my stateroom. I will have one for childrens books and magazines and one for adults. Super easy...people can bring an extra book and drop it in the bag...anyone can take a book. End of the cruise, I will donate any books in the bags to the crews library and the kids clubs. The bags will have a sign on them and will be available 24/7

Ships library (so to speak) has really limited hours. I found myself unable to sleep on our last cruise and was able to find something to read in the disboard book bag....thought it was a neat idea...and I didnt have to repack books I had finished!

I'd love to get one for my mom. She is going on her 1st Disney cruise next year. She loves Tink. Since we don't need it for this cruise, if you get too many requests, don't make this a priority. I would totally understand if you ran out of time.

I am a first time cruiser with an upgrade question....
We booked the IGT with restrictions room deal for this cruise. We were fine with an inside room. We recently have been given our room assignments. A member in our group has had some health issues and may be spending more time in the room. At port, he wishes to try to upgrade to a room with a view. I am trying to research if that MIGHT be an option (I know that there would have to be availability, etc). I am reading web info that says, "yes that might be an option" and some that say "no- those are the restrictions"... You guys seem smarter than everyone else, so any insight??

It's an option. On my most recent cruise (September, 2012), friends upgraded from an IGT to the Roy Disney Suite!!! It cost them a lot of money, but what an experience! And they were very nice and invited us to visit them frequently!

Those are too adorable. If all have not been claimed, we would love one-Cars, ToyStory, Tinkerbell, Little Mermaid would all work. It is just DH and myself and I was going to hang a Christmas stocking since we have never done FE before. If and only if you truly have time for a small 2 pocket one, we would be greatful. I'll throw the socking in just in case!

If you have an extra Tinkerbell, Toy Story, Little Mermaid, that would be awesome. We just have a bag from the dollar store, that I think maybe a little large to hang. If that's okay, what size dowel do we need to bring?

Also note that elderfam's second cabin with her cousin and her family have been added to the late-comers, along with disneylovebirds. Email, PM or post here any changes/additions.

How am I doing on "half the clothes and twice the money"?
Any input on my packing is appreciated! Note, I will be doing laundry.

My plan is to pack the following for each member of the family:

• 3 or 4 daytime outfits for warm weather
• 1 pair sandals and sunhats
• 3 or 4 "casual" dinner outfits
• 3 outfits for the formal and semi-formal nights (inc. shoes, accessories)
• 2 swimsuits (one to wear, one to dry)
• 2 pairs PJs
• socks, undies, etc.
• Workout clothes and shoes for DH and myself

Love your list! I will be doing laundry on the ship, too. Don't be surprised to see me in the same outfit more than once. My wardrobe is severely limited at the moment, and so there will be no formal clothes. I also won't be bringing a swimsuit - as mine has holes in the knees.

Jeff....LOL...sorry you havent been on any of our cruises in the past! I love sewing them and have given some away on every cruise we've been on. That being said..so not a pro here. LOL

The only thing I ask is that you not sell them, but feel free to pass them on someday to another family.
