Hello everybody!

I hope somebody can help me out here. I bid on an eBay item that is in Germany. It's a CD that I just can't get here in the US and I want it really badly. The thing is, I have to pay in Euro and the person doesn't take paypal. How do I go about this? I don't mind waiting the extensive time it will take to send payment via snail mail, but obviously, payment has to be in Euro. How do I go about making a payment in Euro? I know it's possible to make a bank draft, but my bank charges $25 for the service, which is a lot of money for a $2 CD! Is there another way? What about travellers checks?

It's VERY hard to ask the seller because he doesn't speak ANY English! lol! I've been going to a translator website to write my notes to him and translate the e-mails he sends me, but they are still very confusing as the electronic translator isn't perfect! I'm just grateful the guy is willing to deal with me at all! lol!

I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks!

Dakota

Does he take any credit cards? That would be the easiest way to make a Euro payment. Do you live near an international airport or large bank where you could get some money exchanged to Euros?
