I am TOTALLY new to this whole ebay thing. If you someone uses this can you give me your opinion on this?

I purchased 50 Disney trading pins from ebay yesterday. Received the notification that I had won, paid through pay pal and today I received an email saying my order would be shipped through USPS. And my debit card has already been charged. This evening I received an email from ebay saying the item had been removed and when I look at my history it shows no winning bids????

So do I go ahead and purchase another lot or wait a little while? I have almost 5 weeks until we leave for Disney so I have some time to let it sit. Do you think I am still going to get the stuff I purchased and paid for?

Write to eBay about your payment going through and the removal of the item. You might have to file a dispute to get your money back.

I agree with Briar. That sounds very fishy to me! Did you check paypal to see if your money had be refunded??

The exact same thing happened to me. It was probably the same pin seller.

I contacted the seller and he says that it was a typo error or something.

I only ordered 10 pins, so I'm letting it go through. The fact that the seller has VERY good reputation is making me feel at ease.

I sent an email to the vendor this morning and I'm still waiting to hear back.

I think if I don't hear something back from the vendor by this evening I will contact ebay and paypal.

We leave in about 5 weeks and my family will very disappointed if they don't have their pins to trade. They will go through 20-25 pins each and it is much cheaper to get them from ebay!

There are a few pin traders on eBay that are horrible to deal with. They'll rip you off. I am so very happy to finally have all the pins I need bought.

You need to find out from eBay if your money was returned to your account.

Some of the dealers take their sweet time shipping pins. You might ask them to send your order off right away. :wave2:

I am going through this right now. I first notified ebay...and of course ebay is not very helpful. However because you used PayPal, they have a resolution center. Click on that to file a claim. You have to wait 1 to 2 weeks and then file a dispute. (REMEMBER YOUR END DATE). Then you have to wait another 2 weeks. This is where I am currently. Save all of your emails until this is resolved. And you may want to purchase from another seller. The pin I wanted, I noticed only a few left from sellers, so I purchased another one, while waiting for this to resolve. I am going to tell you the seller's name so others can BEWARE!!!!.

He/She also had great references...the name is supakoolpins. So if you want to share your bad seller's name, then maybe others will stay away as well.

Good Luck.

I heard back from the dealer last night. They said their listing had been pulled because the new ebay rules state that they have to describe and tell you exactly what you are purchasing. I bought 50 pins for $1.85 each and of course there was no picture or description of each pin. They have given me my shipping tracking number and I see that it has shipped. I hope when they get here they are good trading pins.
