Ebay sellers having a field day with dreams

Has anyone noticed how some Ebay sellers are having a great time selling their dreams? So funny they got these items for free and smucks like me who didn't win anything bids and pays for something they got for free.

I really am a loser, huh?

Well I have thought about it. I really want some of the ears.
I have the 50th ears, regular ears, bride and groom ones from my honeymoon, now I just need those.
I have been three times since the start of things and really didn't see many people with them.

I figure it's the only way I am going to get any of them.

Okay, I confess that's me! LOL, I didn't know they were over $40 until I read this thread!!

I LOVE my ears but my hubby is insisting I sell some to pay for all my postcards! I'm excited they're selling well but sad to see them go!

That's why I've been selling my ears, too...to pay for the postage to send in more entries.
I had 2 sets of ears go for $75, and another 2 sets go for about $30, and an ear/lanyard set go for around $40.
Sorry it offends some people that I'm making money on my good fortune, but there was an initial outlay of money to receive these "dreams"...and honestly, my dream is to win the big prize, not a bunch of ears.
I don't see it any differently than investing in a lottery ticket, and using the $5 winning to purchase more lottery tickets.

I agree sell them if you want to. Its not like they're making "fakes"and selling them. And to all who think that is wrong, I bet if I offered you a million for them, they would sell them in a second. So does a monitary value make it right or wrong???

I'm against that people sell these. I mean i'd buy them either way but i think it's wrong that you get these items for free and your getting money from people who don't even have enough money to go to the parks. And that's probably why they are bidding on the ears. But if everyone was to win these items nobody would bid 40$. Take a second, and think about the people who buy these. I for one go to Disney for free because my cousins are cast members. I didn't recieve any dream. And i saw very few with dream ears on and dream fast passes. But if my cousins didn't work in Disney i wouldn't be able to go. And therefore i'd be the one bidding on the 40$ Mickey Dream ears. Just think about it. And instead donate one to those who really need it. Or really want it. Like me Or any others on the DISBoards who have been wanting this beauties

I actually won 2 lanyards, but kept one to give to my neice.
There's no secret to winning. I sent in one prestamped postcard every day for 100 days. A couple of them I highlighted around the edges to make them stand out, but other than that, did nothing special. It took a while to see results, but finally started getting the prizes.

The ears are nice, and I'm sure they're enough for many people, but I'd really, REALLY like to win the DVC membership! Winning the ears is not such a great thing to me, because that means there's a few more entries that won't go into the grand prize drawing. Thus, I sell the ears, and will buy more postcards with the proceeds.

What is this sending in a post card thing? I guess I dont know much about this. We just got back last week from Disney and for the 7 days there we didn't see a dream Team member once. Saw people with the lanyards and fast pass things around their necks but that was it. Please give me more info on the post card.

My mom bought 2 of the lanyards with pins on eBay. One for her one for me. I don't even want to know how much she had to pay for them. I will try my luck with 100 post cards. If I don't win by the end of November I might buy some ears to where on my trip!

This may be throwing fuel on the fire, but I wonder how much ears and lanyards will be selling for when YOAMD is over and people know that don't have a chance to win them.
