So tried to buy some pins to tade on our upcoming World trip via Ebay... not workin out so great. And by that I mean they never shipped the item or returned any emails. Had to open a dispute and I do hate being negative when Disney is concerned.... But Gee Wiz!! (seller is dream.maker - dont buy!!)

Soooo anyone have any other alternatives to cheap pins besides pain-in-my-sidebay?:confused3

I have seen them at the disney outlet stores. I know they are discounted, but I don't know how great. We usually go to the one in Lake Buena Vista.

I think there is a pin thread round here somewhere that has recommended sellers listed. Try a board search for pin trading.

Sorry to hear that you had bad luck. I recently won 2 lots from 2 different sellers. The 1st seller shipped VERY quick, and the pins look VERY good. The 2nd seller shipped within the advertised time period, and the pins also look OK. I would buy from either again. PM me and I will give you their names. I don't want to post them here, for fear that they will be "red-listed".

Link is in my signature. :)

They only get red listed if they are selling scrapper. Most are.

OP The sellers on eBay don't work with Disney in any way. They are individuals selling pins, in most cases they are selling fake pins (aka scrappers). Follow the link in my signature to find the thread on eBay and good sellers, I don't pay more than $2 per pin for traders, and yes, those are legit pins and not scrappers. :) You can find good sellers but it can be a challenge, luckily some of us have done a lot of the work already and one Diser just started a new thread with great info on this very subject. :)

I have purchased several times from mousepinsonline.com . They might be a little more expensive than ebay, but they ship quickly and have very nice pins.

Not to sound dumb but what's a scrapper? I purchased pins last year for my little girls to trade and they looked fine. Does it matter if they are "fakes"? I only ask because I don't know. And how do you know if they are scrappers? Thanks
