Hi~I sold an item brand new factory sealed. Buyer claimed it didnt work. I know the drill w/ newbies... feedback was 3 and they sent 2 very abrupt emails asking for refund. I immediately refunded $29 total what she paid. I dont care for the headaches and told her to keep the item.
She was happy of course and left me positive feedback.
Last night i wanted to get my ending fees back so i opened a case. I am not sure if i did it correctly, but i stated i wanted to cancel the transaction adn i added a message saying item didnt work so i refunded the money. I emailed the buyer and told her not to be alarmed about any ebay notices but this is what i need to do to get ending fees back.
Today buyer emails me that yesterday she saw the refund in paypal and now today it is gone.
Would this have anything to do with me opening a case? I thought i would ask before i responded. Wondering if they somehow put it on hold? My paypal shows that the refund was completed.
I dont know what to tell her. I was thinking of having her call paypal...any ideas would be helpful....thank you!!!
