eBay 20% disc using live.com search

I haven't been around the DISboards for awhile now, but was wondering...

Has anyone else heard about this? My friend shared with me today and so far has bought several high dollar items using this deal.

• Goto www.live.com (it's an MSN search engine)
• Do a search for wii
  (note: you don't hafta buy a wii, that's just one of the key search words that will get you the link for the deal)
• At the very top of the page you will see in the shaded area a link and an icon that looks like this
  
• Click on that ad and you will be taken to eBay
• When on the eBay page be sure you see this at the top
  
• Search for any item you want but it must be a Buy It Now item
• On your 'Review Purchase' page you will see your 20% discount
• You much check out and pay using PayPal
• Discount will be credited back following your purchase

Ahhh no wonder! I am very good at Target shopping and have a TON of GC's I got for free by buying certain things (and yes, the items were free after my coupons!). We are talking like $1500 worth! So I have been selling them off. I have been getting very close to what is on them (like $1 less!!) and wondered what the good deal was! No wonder.. people are using that rebate on it! Oh well.. that is my vacation money to upgrade to club level! They can keep buying!

Wow. When I looked this AM, the discount was 20%. I do remember it saying that it would take some time. But for 25% that would be worth the wait.

I just don't understand how they know which account to credit the purchase to. Has anyone had their purchase show up in pending yet on the cashback site?

This was a fantastic deal for me. I should get the $99 cashback from Microsoft, $60 in fuelperks from Giant Eagle by buying Ebay gc's to pay for it, $5 from Disney Visa and $10 from SR for shopping thru their link. If it all works out then that $500 gc only will cost me $326

The process is really very easy. Just follow the instructions listed and you will be fine

I haven't used this Live search discount yet but have heard a lot about it. I didn't think the discounts would be significant but if they're 20% like this that's really good! Too bad right now I have no spending cash to buy anything and I need a new digital camera too.

I ended up getting it to work when it was at 25% and I bought the Pottery Barn Kids bedding set that I wanted for my daughter. The $56.25 rebate is showing up as pending already

The rules said 3 times per Ebay account. I would love to buy a couple of GC's with this deal, but the GC's that I've searched are all at auction as opposed to being Buy It Now's. The item has to be Buy It Now to do this deal, unfortunately.
