Eating Paleo in Disneyland

Mark's Daily Apple is a good place to start. Read some of the success stories, you will be inspired.

Just remember, it can be really hard for some people at first (and you can feel pretty crappy as your body adjusts). Don't give up! It gets easier and you will feel fantastic. Another thing I want to add is that many people think it is a low-carb diet. It can be (especially if you want to lose weight) but a lot of people don't do the low-carb aspect long-term.

A few options from Rancho del Zocalo. Not exactly 100% paleo but I do Dukan and these can be modified (no shell, skip the beans, etc).

Tostada Salad - "Fajita Style" Beef, Chicken or Vegetables presented in a Crispy Tortilla Shell with Refried Beans, Chopped Lettuce topped with Cheddar and Jack Cheese. $10.99

Hacienda Chicken Caesar Salad - Grilled Chicken Breast, Romaine lettuce, Red Bell Peppers, Cotija Cheese, tossed with our own zesty Pepitas Caesar dressing and topped with crisp Tortilla Strips. $11.99

Grilled Fish Tacos - Topped with cabbage slaw and chipotle-ranch. $11.49

We are going next week, so finding this thread is timely!

I have been primal for a couple of years, but lately have been getting into some bad habits, eating more GF products, GMO free popcorn, etc. As a result, my joint pain from a couple of different auto immune conditions has come roaring back!

Really wanted to go try the lobster nachos at Cove Bar, but with the corn and dairy that's a really bad idea. I'd like to be able to walk for the duration of our vacation.

Guess we will go get some skewers for lunch, or find a good bunless burger. DD has to eat GF or gets migraines and stomach cramps. The problem we have is soy sauce in so many things.

We have been a paleo family for about a year because my DW has multiple food allergies, (all forms of corn, gluten, dairy, citrus and egg yolk) and paleo seems to be a perfect road map for us.

Meat skewers, turkey legs, bunless burgers (juicy lucy at HOB in DTD is epic) are the main stays unless we are eating at BB or CC, then its all about steaks ;-)

Does anybody have any update on eating Paleo at DL/DCA recently?
I would love to get some ideas.
Thanks.
