Some of you know that we have a DD who is 4 and a DS who is 2, and we are traveling in January (can officially say next month now! :rotfl:) when we went last January the kids didn't every want to eat a full meal at a restaurant, I am concerned that people may think we are trying to scam the restaurant if we only order the kids one meal to share between them, I know it will be a waste though. Some times too DD just wanted to pick at what we had and not eat at all :confused3

What do you think? Would you just take no notice?

No-one will think you are trying scam, its done very often in US even with adults not just children. They will willingly bring you a spare plate. knife and fork.
We don't share main course but we always share dessert, everywhere bring 3 plates and 3 spoons.
Sharing meals is very common over there.
Only exception is a buffet meal you pay per head but age 2 most do not charge anyway.

We have been a few times this year with DS 4 and DD 1 and they do exactly that. Sometimes DD would share from my plate too. Most of the time me DS doesn\t finish his meals especially due to the portion sizes. I think you will be fine sharing, I will be doing this next month too :)

i agree its common practice to share in the us, we often share starters/desserts here in the uk now as well :thumbsup2
