Yes I know I used to say this too. But I was diagnosed as prediabetic or metabolic syndrome and unless I want to run into some major trouble ten years down the road I have to change my ways. But thanks for all the replies. KatLOL For me, "eating healthy" and "Disney" just don't jive! LOL
Seriously though, it is my understanding from recent reading that Disney has done a lot on their menus to introduce healthier items, especially on the children's menus..to the point where milk is on the menu and soda "on request"

I was diagnosed a little over two weeks ago.I can relate. I am a diagnosed hypoglycemic, with pre-diabetic characteristics. I find no problem eating in WDW. Yes, on occasion I will be bad, but I do so as a choice not for lack of choices. My word of caution, be careful of WDW sugar-free/no added sugar options. Even though they are low in sugar, many of them are super high in carbs. I now that greatly affects me. I carry either jerky or a protein bar in my backpack to ensure I can have a higher protein snack if I need it. So long as you make the right choices for you, you'll be fine. Everyone with sugar issues reacts differently to WDW. You may have to adjust your typical eating habits, I find I have to eat more in WDW to combat higher then normal activity levels. How recently was your diagnosis?
