Ok so here is my situation. We are going to MNSSHP on 9/9. It will be me and hubby, 2 daughters 8 & 6. I wanted to do LTT before the party but was only able to get a 6:15 ADR (wanted earlier). I had planned on getting to MK by 4, hitting a few rides then eating and hit the party after dinner.

However, my TA was able to get an ADR for 3:50 at Crystal Palace. So in that case, get there, eat and then hit rides/party.

Based on food, the fact that it will be our first time at MNSSHP and the ages of my kids, which would you choose for that night? We are paying good money for the party so I hate to miss any of it.

Oh and if it matters our other character meals during the week are:
Epcot Princess breakfast
CRT lunch
Chef Mickeys

While I love the food at LTT, I don't like that late time so I picked CP because its earlier..

I wouldn't eat so late when paying to attend the party. We also didn't care for the food at LTT but love CP for dinner.

I agree with above entirely. Eat early as lines get short from 5 pm. to 7 pm. Don't like LTT food and love CP!:)

Will you be using a MK park ticket or Hopper ticket that day ? Because if you weren't, you won't be able to get inside with just your party ticket in time for your CP reservation.

Last year we did two parties and did LTT and CP. We loved CP and not really thrilled with LTT. Both of those were at 4:30 because we didn't want to miss any party time.

If you aren't already using a park ticket that day, I would either find another TS to eat earlier dinner, like at a resort........or I would do a big lunch then CS around 6:30 after we did some rides but before the CS places start closing.

Personally, I hate--HATE--CP and LTT is a must for our family. That plays a huge part in what I would choose between the two.

One thing to keep in mind is that you will have an overlap of guests 4-7 PM, when party guests are given arrival and before day guests are asked to leave. In other words, crowds will be a bit heavier those 3 hours.

It is easy to be out of LTT in under an hour since it is family style service and most servers are pretty good at moving you, while still not rushing you, and you don't get caught in not being able to go to the buffet because characters are coming around soon.

I think having ADRs somewhere between 5 PM and 6 PM are best. 6:15 is pretty close, and you can just check in early.

I say keep calling and trying to get a better time at LTT. It is months away and from what many people say - things open up. Good luck

Will you be eating again later? Or leaving the party early?

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with either. I love CP but you might not be able to get in using your MNSSHP ticket that early and eating THAT early really messes with my boys' schedules.

LTT is too late. I really think the food there stinks but it's worthwhile trying for yourself. Just not that late.

But, if I had to choose, it would be CP because of the better food and I'd keep calling to move it back an hour.

I would not use up my time eating when I spent so much money on MNSSHP tickets. Eat at CP before and spend your valuable time having fun at the party.
