Eateries to stay away from ???

Whatever you do, stay away from the pumpkin juice! I'm pretty adventurous and enjoy a variety of juices from papaya to lychee. But one sip of pumpkin juice had me gagging. It was way too sweet and tasted "off."

Now see, to each there own. We loved the pumpkin juice. Reminded me of apple cider.

Thanks, found it!

You have to go........you will not be disappointed. Metro put us onto it and will be forever grateful to him as we loved it.

Hands down.......one of the best ribs I have ever had.......and we eat a lot of ribs in the states.

Really really good value as well :thumbsup2

Not sure you ever got an answer - but I would say, yes - definitely. The Thunder Falls Terrace is streets ahead (+10 for any Community fans) of Flame Tree. Don't forget to get some of that amazing roasted corn on the cob too! :thumbsup2

Cool! I'll bring some lemon pepper seasoning (Awesome on Corn on the cob! Oops! I think I let out a family secret!)

We tried Confisco's for the first time during our last trip and the food was actually pretty good. The service was VERY slow though. We always eat at Richters. It's just a standard burger which is all we want sometimes. We also had good food at the Three Broomsticks. It was just like Thunder Falls Terrace.

The only really bad food we've had was at Mel's. That was a few years but it was awful. If you ever find the Monsters Cafe open, the food isn't great there either but the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Thanks everyone - this was exactly what I was looking for - your opinions are much appreciate - now to start planning!

Try googlemaps and use this address 5818 Conroy Road, Orlando, FL

OK, this is probably a ridiculous question, but is this a catering place or an actual restaurant? I'm asking because it's listed as "Orlando Catering - Bubbalou's Bodacious Bar B Que" on Google Maps.

We're taking my buddy's two daughters with us on our first day at Universal, and he and his wife are going to meet up with us in the evening for dinner. They're down for some BBQ, so we'll probably end up here if it's an actual sit down restaurant.

It's an actual restaurant but they also do catering jobs. I posted the link to the website earlier in this thread.

We might try this next week. We sometimes enjoy going down to Tony Roma's normally on Monday night for all you can eat baby back ribs. I need to call and see if they are still doing this deal.

Great, thanks for confirming. I did take a look at their website, but I think the "catering" designation on google threw me for a loop. I really hope my friends want to go there, too.

Are reservations recommended? We'll (hopefully) be eating there on Monday, June 6th. On second thought, that's my b-day, so we'll definitely be eating there

I don't think they take reservations. It's just a local place so go and have a good time. You might want to go before the "normal" dining hours...it might be a little less busy.
