Hope you and Bo had a good chat. We hav places to go and peple to see and Bo is well... bolted down so away we go.



While you were chatting with Bo my first order of business was to check out the restroom in the front of the park. I did not check out the water fountain to see if it was the coldest according to Glenn.

Look what I did find

I actually had to flush my toilet. This was just like the one in EPCOT at the Wonders of Life pavilion.

Now that we are together again, come on I want to show you something.

I get shown to Gate A and we wait.

We get in and sit. The CM comes in and we go through seat belt check and she leaves. AND….
















Nothing. The CM comes back in and we do the whole thing all over and again – Nothing. Finally we get moved to another gate.

With my luck it all evens out. I don't get drenched but my ST ride is broken. I will take having to move to another gate over being drenched anytime.

Changes are good. I look forward to seeing it again to see how the different scenes are incorporated.

As I exit the gift shop I see the storm is still hanging around.

I didn't know you had such great weather mojo Pat. I guess I need to hang out with you at Disney.

In my line of work, I need to know what the weather is going to do. That and my phone with radar and I am good. I really need to pin my weather radar map with the parks. I just have the property pinned so I have to guess where each park is somewhat.

Fun Update. I'll be back to see your pictures because the Yak Attack and the baby monkies sound intriquing (in that order!)

The Yak attack was yummy. That was the first time I have seen such a show from the monkeys.

Ah - teenagers. I wonder how much time Nick (17) will spend with us on our December trip. I know he'll show up for the food, but beyon that......

Mealtime was a given and onnly table service since we had reservations. I had told we were NOT going to do the dining plan and I got a pouty face from him.
As a compromise, I will add the dining plan to the SSR part of the trip. That should satisfy him.

Otherwise, it was hit or miss and as you know I saw more of the back of him than the front.

3-day weekend = LOTS of TR updates to catch up with!

EE and Safari with no lines = WIN. Although I'm surprised you had to deal with poachers on your safari. You'd think Disney would be more vigilant on their animal lands.

Those darn poachers. You would think Disney could train the rhinos to charge them.

I liked what that dad said: "If all's right with the world, it will be" (raining at DHS).

It was DTD the dad wanted it raining on to get his independent son. I understood the grief in his voice.

That mug has spent 1 night in the cabinet. It usually goes from dishwasher to use to dishwasher.

I have never been in the shop near Yak and Yet. I may have to do that next week!

Wow, I didn't know they had moved the Cars topiaries to DHS.

The mug gets lots of use and I like my dress. It actually felt a bit cooler thatn wearing shorts but I was so concerned over the top shifting.
I had that strap tied up and I kep fddling with it.

Absolutely. Florida weather is pretty easy to watch. The only hard thing is to predict where it will pop up but I can see it coming.

Ahh the Lost on Safari. I know it well. I have had one several times and once I attempted 2. One is enough for me. After teh second one I really felt lost. Boy I sound like such a lightweight.

I have been eyeing that dress for some time. I had every intention of buying it but the first 2 times I started to wonder when I would wear it.

I was determined to get the mug. The dress too but I will admit I did waffle a bit. The mug is huge. I have several Disney mugs and I think this one is the biggest. I have the Mine, Mine, Mine and the Main street one with all the characters on it.

I really need to make a list to take with me. I get so distracted in the stores I forget what I " need" when I get in there.

Well, you could have stuck your foot in to get a sense of the temperature. It would have been a decent gauge, since both the toilets and the fountain have the same water supply.

Those random flush toilets always throw me off a little too when I'm in the world. But its even worse when I get back to work and I expect the toilet to flush itself.

Somehow when Maroo alerted me to the "lost in time" bathroom in the Wonders of Life Paviliion, I figured it was the last of its kind in the world.

It has a long lost sibling in DHS.


Where I used to work had auto toilets but as they started to break we just replaced them with regular manual flush ones. That took some adjustments ...


You will like Star Wars. For the most part you will get different rides every time.

Yak Attack - Mango Daiquiri, Bacardi Light Rum, and Wildberry Flavors $7.99


It is a frozen drink but you do get the fruitiness of it with the mango and wildberry.

My mug is either in use or in the dishwasher. It got to spend one night in the cupboard when I was able to run the dishwasher early an get the dishes put away that night instead of the next morning while I brew my coffee.

The dress may come with me in Dec depending on the weather forecast. Even if I only use it to go the pool. ( wishful thinking on the weather )
