Eat, Run and Celebrate- Day 7- Last Day and New Orleans

Ummmm How did you make the 11 a.m show when you arrived at 11:30a ???????? Great update and pix !1Sorry you were not feeling well that morning !!!!

Hi Pat. Enjoying your updates.

Well I love my Canon EX40! I got some amazing photos & will post a few here when I start my TR.

Sorry to hear you were not feeling well. Yeah like Rosie asked-did you get into the FOTLK late or did you get to the park earlier than you thought?

Hmmmmm.....Maybe I should stay away from the mai tais afterall. :rotfl: Glad FOTLK was just enough to get you feeling better. You got some great close ups of the performers. That's another place I haven't taken my camera, so, again....maybe December. Do they still sing "the Lion sleeps tonight?" Love that song.

Agh, Pat, did you really post a picture of a Mickey waffle this morning? I would do some serious bargaining right now to get one. :lmao:

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well, but glad that the FOTLK helped. ;)

Hey there! :wave2: Playing my usual game of catch up (not to be confused with ketchup!)

Or is the woman 1 row up and across the aisle who is sanitizing everything? The tray, the edges, the seatback , the latch her seatmate- no not really but you get the idea right?
You had me rolling with this!!!! Is it possible that my DW was on your flight? :rotfl::rotfl: This sounds exactly like her! Although, in my DWs defense, if it wasn't for these anal people, non of that would ever get cleaned, now would it? :scratchin

OK... back to reading.... :surfweb:

Edit:: I just LOVE the Blue Fairy...

I went through Captain Cook and filled up my mug- Don’t judge.

Ummmmm......... you trying to get your TR locked?:laughing:

Sorry you weren't feeling well on day 2... what a way to feel better though, finding YOUR monkey! :woohoo::woohoo: :lmao::lmao:

Good morning! So sorry you felt bad. I am glad FOTLK made you feel better. I had a severe migraine at Chef Mickeys last year. It was awful. No fun to be sick at WDW.
I really hope the Poly beach is available. The areas to view fireworks at GF are either concrete or boat dock. We will see. Have a great day!

Hey, from the artists rendering of the new Fantasyland it looks like the crowds won't be too bad! :thumbsup2

:lmao:

OK...so I wasn't TOO far behind. Something about freak October snow storms/losing power/crazy week at work has kept me away from spending much time on the Dis in the last week or so. :sad2:

Moving on...

1. Just showed my four year old your Haunted Mansion pictures. We've been listening to our Four Parks, One World CD a ton since July and he's very into the HM music, so we might get him on that ride in February. His main concern is whether or not the ride is "straight." Huh?

2. Ah...IASW. Never fails to make me smile. I suppose you must ride it at least once per trip...whether you really want to or not.

3. The flag ceremony: I had never seen this before July and it is really beautiful. I caught it entirely by accident, not even knowing that it happens every day. Really beautiful and moving.

4. The blue fairy...am I the only one how thinks she might not have been a she? :lmao:

5. Great Peoplemover shots. Love the Peoplemover. And that one shot of the original plan for EPCOT...nice! :thumbsup2 I say it almost every time the Peoplemover is brought up, but would it be too much for them to move the EPCOT model somewhere you could actually see it??

6. Love all the Poly shots. We're staying there in February and seeing more pictures makes me jump out of my skin excited. Your mai tais look great! :thumbsup2 I can see that staying there, with all the delicious rum drinks, might lead me to ingest a bit more alcohol than in past trips. :rolleyes1

7. Love FOLK! :thumbsup2

Glad you felt better after the monkey and the FOLK!

Just came across your TR this am.................and.................................I am loving it! Great Pics! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you got to feeling better

Thanks I am glad whatever that was passed. It was worse that any hangover I have had. :lmao: I was beginning to wonder if it was the wings. :confused3 But later I think I figured it out.

Sorry you were feeling queezy. That happened to me on our December 2008 trip. And right before our Kona dinner reservation too. Glad it passed. And glad you saw your monkey!

It was the hot and cold mixed in with the dizzies. Not to mention the stomach issues. I knew I needed to get up and get something in my stomach and hydrate but I had nothing in the room when I woke up.

Ummmm How did you make the 11 a.m show when you arrived at 11:30a ???????? Great update and pix !1Sorry you were not feeling well that morning !!!!

You know that is a good question. :lmao:I found out my camera time stamp was wrong, so I needed to go back to figure out exactly when I finally left. It might have been the 12:30 show. I know I was very late for me who usually makes rope drop.

Sorry to hear you were not feeling well. Yeah like Rosie asked-did you get into the FOTLK late or did you get to the park earlier than you thought?

Welcome back. I am glad you are enjoying your camera.

Leave it to Rosie to figure out my time-space continuum problem. :lmao:

I will go back and look at pictures/notes tonight when I get home. I know I had an issue with the camera clock being 12 hours off but I will figure it all out.

I have the Mai Tais just about every time I go. I know John was heavy handed but 2 should not make me feel that bad. :lmao: I think I was really dehyrated and stumbled on something else I did that day that may have contributed to the issue.

FOLK does have "the Lion sleeps tonight" I believe it is in their big finale song medley.

Agh, Pat, did you really post a picture of a Mickey waffle this morning? I would do some serious bargaining right now to get one. :lmao:

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well, but glad that the FOTLK helped. ;)

We may need to find you a way to get some Mickey Waffles.:lmao: It has far too long for you.

I need to get up, get something in my stomach and get the blood pumping.
Mickey waffles and FOLK was the cure!

Hey there! :wave2: Playing my usual game of catch up (not to be confused with ketchup!)

Welcome back. I know you have had a time of it with Snowtober and all.

You had me rolling with this!!!! Is it possible that my DW was on your flight? :rotfl::rotfl: This sounds exactly like her! Although, in my DWs defense, if it wasn't for these anal people, non of that would ever get cleaned, now would it? :scratchin

I really thought this woman was going to lean over and clean the peron sitting next to her. I like to sanitize germs and all but she really went overboard. :lmao:

OK... back to reading.... :surfweb:

Edit:: I just LOVE the Blue Fairy...

I am sure you did.

Ummmmm......... you trying to get your TR locked?:laughing:

Sorry you weren't feeling well on day 2... what a way to feel better though, finding YOUR monkey! :woohoo::woohoo: :lmao::lmao:

:ssst: on the ugmay. :ssst:

A nice dark air conditioned theater with some great looking monkeys. :thumbsup2

I am glad I was able to finally get and get moving.

I hope the Poly beach is available. MeMom will be down Christmas day and I am not getting there until the 29th so I really hope we have an answer before then so if needed we can scout out another site if needed.

Great pictures from the Poly beach, Pat. Your fireworks (Hallowishes) turned out really well.

I'm sorry you weren't feeling well on your next morning (by the way it was Tuesday, September 27 -- not Wednesday as your title shows). ASSports got no brownie points from me the one time we stayed there.

But glad to hear you were able to eat something and that seeing your "monkey" made you feel not so green. ;)

:lmao:

Can't imagine why a freak snowtober storm would mess with your week. :lmao: Glad everyone is OK and you have power back.

Straight as in a line? :confused3 there is some 4 year old translating that needs to be done.

2. Ah...IASW. Never fails to make me smile. I suppose you must ride it at least once per trip...whether you really want to or not.

3. The flag ceremony: I had never seen this before July and it is really beautiful. I caught it entirely by accident, not even knowing that it happens every day. Really beautiful and moving.

IASW once is good - more than that at least in one day is pushing it unless you have a little one and then I can do it. :thumbsup2
Flag ceremony was a nice way to slow down for a bit and enjoy something special.

4. The blue fairy...am I the only one how thinks she might not have been a she? :lmao:

:lmao::lmao:I still think the fairy's legs are too good looking to be a guy but ..... it would not surprise me. :lmao:

5. Great Peoplemover shots. Love the Peoplemover. And that one shot of the original plan for EPCOT...nice! :thumbsup2 I say it almost every time the Peoplemover is brought up, but would it be too much for them to move the EPCOT model somewhere you could actually see it??

Thanks on the complimets. It would be nice to maybe see the EPCOT model in OMD? Remember Clinta and John for your drinks.:thumbsup2

Great pictures from the Poly beach, Pat. Your fireworks (Hallowishes) turned out really well.

Thanks- I attibute all improvements to my new camera.

I think my camera being off is messing with my head. :lmao: I fixed it. I know I arrived on Tuesday so it must have been the 27th making Wed the 28th.

Overall ASSp was fine. My room was clean and I did not have any missing remote covers or batteries like I did one trip.
The food court was meh I think I like POP much better in that respect.

My "monkey" can always make me feel better. ;)

do you want to sleep on the couch the rest of the year.

better make sure ali gets to go with this time.
What do you mean the REST of the year???
Dan, I don' tthink it would be the couch...I think it would be the backyard!
Glad I've got that good tent and mummy bag! It has been really COLD lately.;)
Hmmmm does this mean NYE is a possibility?????
Remote possibility depending on our schedule with families for Christmas. Matt is supposed to be home from 12/26-1/6 so I guess it depends on what he wants to do while home...... Unfortunately if we go, the APs will expire by then so......
I see you have been on the ROFR thread. Yes I has addonitis already. For about the last 2 weeks I have had that sense to check the resales and one came up in the same use year, for the right amount. I just signed and sent everything back so I am less anxious than last time since I have plenty of time to use the points.
Good luck with curing that addonitis!
Oh yes we were ganging up on Marv. :rolleyes1 I hear he may have been impersonating a security guard?
I think it was more of a case of Rosie feeling guilty than me actually doing an impersonation. :rotfl2:
We have never seen the Flag Ceremony and I truly appreciate you sharing those photos, Pat. :)
Ditto! Great job. Haven't happened upon that one yet and really need to.

Hey, who are those women in the dresses that keep posing with the Princess???? :goodvibes
That is the grumpiest-looking fairy I've ever seen! Not that I see a lot of fairys, mind you, but still...
I was thinking the same thing!
No Liesa greeting??!?!?!?:lmao:
I think he actually wants the bellhop to LEAVE the luggage..... :lmao:

Any guesses where I end up? :lmao:
FOTLK? YOU? NO, really??? :rolleyes1
There’s my monkey swinging on the swing.
Funny after the show I feel much better. Just what the doctor ordered. I just needed to get my blood flowing a bit.
[/SIZE]
Uh huh! :sad2:
And the flying bird but she is a little blurry
Oh sure, get plenty of shots of the monkey and blur the flying bird!!!

Well I hope Matt votes to go to Disney.

Good luck with curing that addonitis!

Thanks

Marv you are right I thought 1 of the guys had done something and security was after me !!!:rotfl2:

:lmao: I can just visualize the moment. :lmao:

Ditto! Great job. Haven't happened upon that one yet and really need to.
Worth every minute of it - really special to watch.

Hey, who are those women in the dresses that keep posing with the Princess???? :goodvibes

You really know how to make a girl feel special- thanks. :goodvibes

I was thinking the same thing!

Grumpy fairy or man fairy???

I think he actually wants the bellhop to LEAVE the luggage..... :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:
FOTLK? YOU? NO, really??? :rolleyes1

:lmao::lmao:

Uh huh! :sad2:
Oh sure, get plenty of shots of the monkey and blur the flying bird!!!
I tell you only the monkey ones came out mostly clear. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Alright I think I have the time thing worked out.

The camera never sprang forward to DST. The new one. I think the waterproof one ws 12 hours off so I must have set that one to am instead of pm of a regualr after noontime when it wanted military time.

Anyhoo.

I have a watch shot before I left the room of 10:30- then eating and arriving at AK at 11:30.
While the time stamp says 11 it was noon when the FOLK show started.

Sorry for any confusion -
Later that night I noticed it and fixed it. So I guess I will be a little screwed up with time until then. :lmao:
