Here is the menu for next week.

Tonight: Steak Fajitas with Mexican Rice

Next week in no order:
Beer Braised Chicken and Crusty Bread
Glazed BBQ Shrimp, Corn on the Cob, and Rolls
Grilled Pork Tenderloin and Grilled Vegetables (from last week)
Homemade Pizza

I'm also working on my June/July menus. For June, all new recipes must be from cookbooks or magazines. One of my projects this summer is to make a searchable database of all my cookbooks by finding the recipes out of each that I want to keep.

Let's see I still need to go grocery shopping but dh was home sick for the first time in years!

Tonight was American chop souy
Tomorrow hot dogs and salad
Wednesday meatloaf
Thursday pulled pork
Friday dd's bowling banquet
Saturday maybe chillies need to pick p mil from the air port

Tonite something different than planned- Fried Chicken and Arroz y gandules- except I don't have peas- so it's Rice and corn instead. My kids prefer it that way. Oh and some tostones!

Last week we out out everyday but Wednesday & Sunday :sad2: It was such a busy week between having dinner with my dad, going to the grocery store, DD dance stuff and going to Cedar Point. But this week we have nothing going on so we are getting back on track.

Monday: Taco Salad

Tuesday: Brats, pasta salad, baked beans

Wedneday: BBQ Chicken Wraps, leftover beans & pasta salad

Thursday: Chicken enchiladas, black beans

Friday: Sloppy joes, oven fries

Saturday: DD and I are going to wedding with my grandma. DH and DSS's will have a boys night out. We'll have hot dogs and mac & cheese for lunch before we go to the wedding.

Like reading your menus, it helps me solve the headache, now i have the menu of tomorrow night:
Mushroom with Shrimp, Beef and broccoli, rice/dumplings

Fell off the wagon AGAIN :sad2:

We didn't eat out every night but there were definitely more than a couple of take-outs last week. I just hate going to the grocery and last week we were out of soooo much it was just easier to call for pizza.

Anywho, this was tonight-beef stroganoff made with leftover boeuf bourginion from the freezer and green peas. I promise it tasted better than it looks!

Welcome aboard! I would love to make more Asian food! This past week i made my own sushi rolls for the first time and they came out great!

Thanks! We are a big sushi lover family. Sushi roll is not difficult to make and they are usually quite healthy. I should go get the ingredients and make some for next week!

I get my weekly online meal plan on Tuesdays for the following week. Today as I was sorting through it I realized...next weekend is a long weekend and we are going to visit my parents in Mississippi!!! :cool1:
That will mean:
FOUR DAYS OF NO COOKING FOR ME!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Dinner tonight:

Grilled Tilapia
Broccoli Rice Au Gratin
Diced Cantaloupe

Tonight we are doing split dinners. My mom is having corn meal mush. She loves it and I do not. I am adding Italian sausage, which she does not like, to the leftover pasta and sauce from last night.

I just didn't trust myself and thought it was going to be so hard and it was easy and fun and very healthy.:)

tonight i so wanted to go thru the drive thru. instead i made somethink quick-chicken patti sandwiches with cheese, boxed mac and cheese and salad. not the healthiest but it worked.

:cool1: Good job on making dinner at home! We have chicken patty sandwiches and mac & cheese about once a month. Its just a simple, quick dinner that the whole family likes.

Last night:

Steak fajitas, black beans (freezer) and Mexican rice (freezer)

I had grilled veggies in the fridge but forgot about them! I guess they'll be lunch today.

Tonight we are having pork chops with either scalloped potatoes or roasted potatoe wedges, I have not quite decided yet. I also have some brussel sprouts to roast up as well.

This is an "Eat at Home" victory dance for you...
:cool1::banana::cheer2::dance3::woohoo::yay:

So tonight we try something completely different for dinner. Keep in mind I am subscribed to an online meal planning website,so this where the idea came from...

Gobbler Sandwiches: Deli turkey, sliced Muenster(we have never tried this kind of cheese), poppyseed salad dressing and apple slices...all on toasted bread. I think I will also broil the meat and cheese on the toast before adding the dressing and apples. It does sound interesting. I will give the family verdict tomorrow.

Dinner tonight:

Gobbler Sandwiches
Raw Veggies and Dip
Chips

Beer Braised Chicken and French Bread for dinner tonight. I am really excited because it looks GOOD! If it is, I'll post it on my blog tonight or Friday and link it for you all. I might even remember a picture!
