DS has pneumonia so this week has been a little good, a little bad...

Sunday: (it was a bad weekend, truly don't remember)
Monday: Crockpot Chicken Salsa w/fruit side
Tuesday: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
Wednesday: Spaghetti w/Tuscan Garlic Bread
Thursday: Omelettes w/toast and sides
Friday: Pizza Homemade with all the leftover veggies in the house

Thursday/Friday are up for grabs depending on how DS feels.

We caved last night and did takeout. Between being sick for almost a week and trying to catch up on school I just needed a meal out.

Tonight we had some chicken paprikash that had been frozen in our freezer.

Well last night was not good at all. I made a lovely chicken bake with what was supposed to be cooked chicken :rotfl2: not good when u have to tell your kids who already don't eat not to eat the chicken. Maybe tonight will be better pizza!

Ugghhh I hate when I work so hard to make something and it turns out inedible. Last week I had a chicken pot pie that I went overboard with the chicken bullion in. It was so salty as to be inedible. It was over an hours worth of work strait into the garbage. Luckily we had some leftovers in the fridge that I ended up warming up :sad2: Anyhow my point is I feel your pain!

HAppy B day to your DD. Mine is 8 too. It's crazy how big they are getting, she's not a little kid anymore!

Last night we had pasta with meatsauce and some leftover pork loin my MIL brought over the house.

Tonight is stir fry and rice. I need to use up the mushrooms and fresh brocolli I have in the fridge

Tomorrow night I think I'll do a chicken cacciatore to use up the rest of the mushrooms, and the peppers I have in the fridge. Although I could do burgers with peppers, onions and mushrooms fried on the side. Mmm that actually sounds pretty good. Maybe that!

I made a huge pot of chicken chili over the weekend and have a ton left. I have a bunch in my freezer and a large bowl in the fridge for lunch this week.

Tonight we're getting takeout after DD dance class, since we're going to look at puppies 1.5 hours away.

Tomorrow is probably sausage or something easy. Wednesday I plan to make a giant turkey. Thursday will probably be enchiladas with turkey, and Friday will probably also be something with turkey. And hopefully there will be some to freeze too. Friday, I have no idea.

Hi all. It is so good to see everyone keeping up. We have been doing good here and only ate out once last week. It was a busy day and we were both way too tired to cook. Tonight we are having macaroni and cheese leftover from last night.

Monday: Sausage gravy, biscuits, eggs and hashbrowns
Tuesday: BBQ ribs, rice, steamed cauliflower
Wednesday: 15 bean soup, rolls
Thursday: Nachos, broccoli
Friday: Chicken, baked potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts
Saturday: Shrimp, rice, veggie
Sunday: Chicken soup & sandwiches

Last night went well my husband even fixed everyone their diner maybe we should do leftovers more often:rotfl2:

Hopefully my daughters headache will go away in time for her play tonight and then we will have grilled cheese and soup

Did I mention I made the black bean and chicken in the crockpot dish again the other night? That has got to be the easiest most awesome recipe ever! I got daring and made my own flour tortillas too :thumbsup2 I posted both recipes and techniques on my blog (link in my signature) I'm always looking for some new readers :goodvibes Tonight I made the hamburgers I had been thinking of a few days ago (with fried peppers and mushrooms I was trying to use up) and I made my own hamburger rolls. The rolls came out AWESOME! (So did the burgers but it was overshadowed by the rolls) I'm going to post that roll recipe to my blog soon too. I will sooooo be making them again!
