Yikes!!! I decided to do the Cinderella & Prince dancing piece from the Happily Ever After cart for my 1900 Park Fare spot. Last night I spent about 2 hours cutting all of the pieces. I used 7.5 inches -- so it is big, but that was the smallest I could do. The eyes are literally specks. I didn't even bother trying to lift them off the mat. I did get the lips off the mat and that was a feat all on its own. I sat down tonight around 9:30. It took me over an hour to get one done

I used my xyron X, wet adhesive, tab tape and my ATG -- all on the same paper piecing. I did the eyes and the prince's teeth by gluing a tiny piece of white on the back of the faces. I used a fine point marker to make the prince's pupil and a glaze pen to make Cinderella's pupil (no irises). Her earring did not cut well so I used stickles for that. It took me so long to get Cindy's face in position. I started at the top and worked my way down; it seems like the best way for this piece.
For now, I stuck it in a drawer and I will look at it tomorrow. If I am going to spend that amount of time on it, it should look pretty darn good. Maybe I'll post a photo tomorrow.
