EasyWDW VS Touringplans

We used Easy WDW to plan which days and Touring Plans to customize a touring plan for us. We'll see how well they work next week! (Oh, and we veered from Easy WDW's recommended parks for our first 2 days because we wanted our girls to experience MK and Epcot first, and of course--those days are both red on the days we are going. But, hopefully with our touring plans, it will be manageable.)

I tend to use a combination of the two. I actually make a spreadsheet with a column for each of the aforementioned sources of data, then list which park is recommended on each day I will be there. If I have one that "hits" across the board, I pick it. If not, I go with the next best, and so on down based on largest number of matches.

Where I am having issues with TP is the order of attractions. I will pick minimize walking, and it still has me zigzagging back and forth across the park, so I end up just doing everything custom.

Going to echo - EasyWDW has always been far superior for me. Our three trips last year, he was absolutely spot on every single day that it was freaky! Following his guidelines have made our trips so much better as we really get a lot more done. We will be following his plans again in October.

I do enjoy the Touring Plans Lines app for inside the parks though.

I think the lines app (touring plans for line waits inside the parks) and Easy WDW for crowd predictor days sounds like the perfect formula :D

I like using EasyWDW because they give an explanation on why a park is recommended or not. (EMH, event, visitor trends, ex.) Then I can see if they would impact me or not and plan accordingly.

Personally I love using EMH and that is a big reason why some places don't recommend a park. Crowd calendars are made to give the best recommendation for the most number of people and since most people either won't be onsite to take advantage of the extra time or they won't/can't be in the parks during the EMH they will usually recommend against the EMH park. But I don't have kids and I am able to stay in the park from open to close so EMHs work for me since I can take advantage of the extra park hours. That might mean slightly longer lines in the mid-afternoon I plan around that by doing the high-capacity shows during that time.

Another reason I love EasyWDW is that the Cheat Sheets give average wait times for the rides at each crowd level. That made it so much easier to conceptualize what different ratings mean.

I can't find the November 2016 calendar on this website. I always lose the link.
Can someone help me out. Also, does anyone know when the site will be updated with the day by day breakdown for November. I only see through October 2016

Well Josh (easywdw) says my days are all a 7 and TP just updated to 9-10 for my days so I'm going with Josh! (Ever the optimist!)
I agree that I like the TP lines app. I tend to use easywdw to plan my park days because he gives reasons for his choices, and I can go with his recommendations or change based on what my plans are in relation to his reasons.
