I was wondering if any of you have done both of these itineries? What are the differences other then the ports? Do you get more activities on the Eastern because you do have that extra day at sea? If anyone has opinions on which is better please let me know. We don't care about the ports we have been to all of them. ::MinnieMo

I like the eastern better for a couple of reasons. I like the extra day at sea, but I especially like the fact that Sunday is at sea. After travelling across the country on Friday, and the initial excitement and rush once you're on board on Saturday, I always find it hard to have a full day at Key West. It's much nicer to relax on deck on that first full day of the cruise.

I don't know that there are more activities due to the extra day at sea. I tend to just like to hang out by the pool or on deck 10 with a book and a drink, so I haven't been to a lot of the on-board presentations, etc., but it seems to me that everything offered on the eastern is also offered on the western. I could be wrong about this, but that's my impression.
