Eastern PA totally OUT of LGMHs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, who is a DIS-er out there that has been going around the Lehigh Valley & Eastern PA snatching up all the Alien Lime Green Mickey Heads?!?!??! I have never seen anyone on here from this area, so I was so sure I would be able to walk right in to any local Home Depot & grab as many as I wanted. Imagine my horror when not one, not two but THREE local Home Depots were out!!!!!!!! I was so excited today to go get my stash (ah the little things) - and alas, had to settle with the Sonic green ones. Of course the Alien Green color was the ONLY color of Disney paint with no paint samples. So there's obviously another DIS freak in the area (just like me!!!)

I'm in Bethlehem, but I'm innocent! Haven't been to a Home Depot in about 4 months....I try to avoid it, because I can never leave their without making a MAJOR purchase!

i'm from PHila, and the last time i went was like july or august. And i only went to 1 HD and had to settle for Sonic Boom myself because Alien green didn't even have a spot! ...... wasn't me honest

Telford woo hoo! DH went to college in Doylestown & lived in Perkasie for 3 years, so I'm sort of familiar with your area. Well I'll keep trying HD for Alien Lime Green (what is the actual name I'm looking for - it's Alien something isn't it??) or just settle for Sonic Boom. My friend & DH both think I'm way too OCD over this anyway, maybe I should lay low for awhile!

I personally don't see it as an OCD - it's something to do & it's FUN! (Ok so I DID forget to pick the kids up at the bus stop about a week ago when I was on here & not watching the time, and I DID burn dinner that same week because I ran upstairs to quick sign on....) I had lunch after my LGMH quest today & of course whipped out the Sonic Green & told my friend all about them. She was seriously mortified. She is going to WDW for the 1st time over T-giving & never even talks about it - so I think SHE has the problem, not ME!!! LOL!!! She thought it was creepy that I spend hours a day reading these posts & chatting with DIS-ers - and that I'd actually want to identify myself as one while I'm there, and ee-gads - talk to others wearing lime green in WDW too! I think she was picturing clandestine meetings & Mickey prayer groups or something. I said it's just to say hello & know that there are other people out there as crazy over DIsney as I am! We just "get" the magic! She still just shook her head & said don't ever ask her to participate. Oh well, her loss as I see it! I think I might just go decorate her house with some homemade LGMHs.....

With all of these stinkin LGMH gone missing- you would have thougth I would have seen more than (1) DISer on my trip last week! I made sure I had one on all of my luggage, my carry on, every handbag I carried- and I switched a few times during the week- my bag I carried to the pool- the night of MNSSHP I was sure to have it on...every day no matter where I was I had it on me.....and nothing.......

I live in Orlando, but I lived 40 years of my life in Lansdale (well Towamencin Twp) and Hatfield (the last 10 before I moved to Orlando!)

My family still lives in the area as well!

it wasn't me but i did take alot of pink and purple ones when i lived in allentown last year good luck finding them i now have ta go to NC to get my LGMH fix

LOL don't feel bad - up until about 2 weeks ago I didn't know what they were either - in Home Depot they have free paint chip samples of the Disney paint in shapes of Mickey's head! When you go to WDW to show that you're a DIS-er (someone who chats on these boards) you display an Alien Lime Green paint sample or "Lime Green Mickey Head - LGMH" on your bag, shirt, resort window, etc. so others from here can recognize you & say hello. But all across the country Alien Lime Green ones are vanishing!! Sonic Boom Green (or something like that) is the 2nd choice of the Mickey Head paint sample....I did snag a few of those - and THANK YOU to Phantom728 - another fellow PA DIS-er - who found some at her HD today & is mailing them to me!!! When I get those in the mail it will be like receiving a little pixie dust of my own!

From what I've seen on here many of us are obsessing about the LGMHs, but no one has spotted any IN WDW yet....have no fear by Nov. or Dec. LGMHs will be taking over The World......
