You got me completely wrong: I'm on FB, too!!
But I never post sensitive information there - and that's all I said. Neither was I trying to keep anyone from posting their travel dates there. I was just explaining why we decided not to use it for the cruise. I considered your statement 'FB is secure' as trying to convince us to post there.
Enough on FB, let's talk about Schnaps:

Last night I ordered 75 mini-bottles of peach, sour apple, sweet apple and plum flavour - perhaps you'd like one of the other flavours. We were at a large supermarket first, but they had them in glass bottles only and those 75 bottles would have weighed in at 18lbs
So we decded to order them straight from the factory in plastic bottles, which come to a total of less than 4lbs.
I'll bring 51 for the Meet'n'Greet and the remaining 24 are for Pirate Night, because I ordered one pack of 24 with a large belt holding the bottles like in an ammo-belt, which makes a great accessory for a buccaneer
We usually never drink Schnaps, but it has become a cruise tradition since Cruisetoberfest I in 2001 and I'd never dare to break a tradition

We picked up a thick wad of greenbacks yesterday and now we just need to pack. I already started to set clothes aside for the cruise. Next weekend we'll pack most of it.

Hope you've got an extra one, since we've just came aboard.

Hi, everyone. We are the new kids on the block. Just booked last week and are super excited. We = Walt, Angela and our 2 year old granddaughter who will be celebrating her 3rd birthday while on board. Would like to join this group and although it is late, we'd like to participate in the FE and perhaps some of the other events.

I hope I am not pestering Pixiehallow. I have read most of this ENTIRE post but still need to ask ... I do not know how to contact Pontiuspython to try to get on the latecomer FE list. How can I get on the "list" (if I can still get on the list)? My kids really want to participate this time around and the more I read, the more excited I'm getting too. Any info would be much appreciated! Are there rules against adding to other FEs if we cannot officially participate? Thanks!

I am sorry to tell you but all of our FE's have been closed. The last one closed on the 5th of September.
I'm not making any promises but there have been some very generous people offering to share in FE's with very very late comers. The best suggestion I can make is to wait and see who replies to your post.
In the meantime I will send you an invitation to our group page where we do still have some meets available to sign up for.
Once again welcome and we look forward to getting to know you.

We had a reform of our spelling rules about ten years ago and 'Tip' is now 'Tipp'
But I have to admit that for at least five years I refused to write it that way before I finally gave up my resistance

Working for an American Company my laptop doesn't have the Umlauts either, because some of our tailored software doesn't work with German keyboards. So I need those ASCII-codes quite frequently.

Awww...but can't we all share the Disney Cruise Cake with friends be it DIS friends or FB friends?

If I remember correctly, the FB friends asked the DIS friends to join in on the mixology class. No one side was hogging that piece of the cake. It was all handled amicably and sociably. Let's follow that example when talking about the the late-late FE group.
