OK, I need help!! My husband just gave me an early Bday present. We're going to Disney for Easter. We will be there 4/9-4/16, already got ressies at Riverside. We are NOT used to going during peak season. What would you're best advice be for tackling the holiday crowds. Just some info, we have DS13,DS12,DD5. HELP!!!

Don't have any advice for you but I will be watching the responses you receive. We too are going to WDW at Easter for the first time. Have a great trip.

We visited WDW last Easter DW-?, DS-10, DD-9, DS-5 and DD and we found that the best thing was to hit whichever park you're going to early. Most of the parks started to become more crowded around noon.

Our first day we visited MK and headed directly to SWF for a fastpass then on to BTM and back to SWF. You can usually ride BTM 2-3 times before you FP time at SWF. Then we jumped over to HM. Before entering HM I went ahead and got our FP for Peter Pan. After PP I usually run ahead and get our FP for WTP, this ride usually sells out of FP very early. While waiting for WTP you can hit IASW, Carousel, Snow White and probably lunch or even the Castle Forecourt show.

Same thing at MGM, we headed first thing to TOT and RNRRC and spent the rest of our time on the other rides getting fast passes when needed.

At AK we usually can finish it by 1-2 pm. We try to hit the Dinosaur area first then head to Asia for the water ride and then over to Africa. This has worked great fro us the past 2 years.

A couple of inbetween days were spent at the Water parks for rest.....then back to the parks.

We've found it best to hit the major rides as soon as possible before the crowds start to build. This gives you more time to enjoy some of the other rides while everyone else waits in line for Big ones.

Have a great time, we'll probably be visiting WDW again this Spring break April 10-20 and can't wait.

jeffrey gave you good advise. You must get to parks early. Use EE and fast pass then go back and swim when the crowds get to be too much. Also make sure you make PS for any place you want a sit down dinner.

We went last Easter as our sping vaca fell during that week. We found that only the MK was crazy all week. On Easter we did Epcot and our friends did AK and they were fine. We did Sea World on Monday and that was very nice.
To do the Mk we had an Early PS at the Crystal Palace and we are all Pooh and gang fans and this way we were in early on a non early entry day. As soon as the rope dropped we hit alot of the rides and used fastpass and hit 1/2 of the park before it got nuts we went back for a swim and hit Epcot for dinner and the night show. Another day we hit the other 1/2 of the MK and hit every ride but had to be patient. MGM was great on the Weds. Did everything we wanted and saw Fantasmic. We had a very good time that week but is was very busy.

Thanx you guys are awesome! Just what I had in mind. My kids have never turned down an opportunity to go back to the hotel for a swim and mom and dad love the break too. Thanx again!!:earsgirl:

Commando style touring. Get to the parks when they open, actually a little before to get through bag checks, stay as late as you can to get everything you want to done. Use Fast Pass for everything possible. It saved us from serious waits for Splash Mountain Easter 2000; 15-20 minutes instead of what was posted (3 hours:eek: ). Be patient and have fun. And if they have the Easter Parade running make sure to see it. It's beautiful.
