We got up and had a restful breakfast. The girls ran around the house in their jammies for a while before we got dressed and headed for the 9.20 bus.It was very busy so we were a bit concerned :scared1: that the parks would be busier than we expected.

We headed into Salon Mickey for some brunch.:cloud9: Zoe was delighted with the sweet treats on offer.

Our first stop inside the park was City hall to book some lunches . We had decided as the weather was forecast to be rather inclement :rolleyes1 we would combine eating and meeting to prevent us having to stand in cold queues.:woohoo:

We then headed to Fantasyland. We rode Casey Jnr , the Storybook cruise and Carousel with very little queuing and then we had a walk around - Jess was character spotting –before heading up to the village for some retail therapy (Susan loves to shop :rotfl: )and lunch at Café Mickey.

At the AP office we had been given 20% off vouchers for most of the restaurants in the village as long as you ate between 12 and 6pm so our bill was only 80€ for the four of us :thumbsup2

We met loads of characters – Minnie (who we’ve never met at a character meal before ), Mickey , Goofy , Pluto , Chip and Dale , Frair Tuck and the Lion from Robin Hood -DD is currently watching this to find out his name :rotfl:

Lunch was delicious. Susan and I both had the Fantasia mushrooms , Pinnochio Pasta and Snow white apple tart (3 courses for 30 € pre –discount). The pasta was enough to feed two ! Jess had lovely cheese tortellini , a solero ice lolly and apple juice in cup we could take away . Zoe had chicken nuggets with some very tasty chips (Susan and I had to try them to test for ome reason which I think we made up :rotfl2: ) and something from the sweet buffet and some diluted strawberry syrup to drink (girl’s meals were either 15 or 20€ before discount).

Not surprisingly :rolleyes1 we were quite full after this so had a slow walk to the studios were we met Remy and rode on the flying carpets and Cars. Unfortunately Stitch was having technical problems  so we headed back to the bus station for the 1620 bus to the Marriot.

After a rest for the Mums and a run around for the girls (where do they get the energy  ) we headed down to the Champion supermarket in Bailly Romanvilliers (about 10 minutes walk at a 5 year olds pace (the 3 year old was in her buggy by now having been finally wore out ). We stocked up on milk (the markertplace at the Marriot only has UHT –yuck!) bread and fruit mainly. Our plan was to have lunch out and eat snacks in the evening and after our big lunch this seemed like a good idea :thumbsup2

After a quick play in the hotel playroom (open 8am till 8pm with supervised activities for part of the time) we headed for a swim (towels are provided –which saves on the packing locker need 1€ which is returned). The pool is about the size of a gym pool and was very busy on the first night/ Nevertheless we had enough room for the girls to swim around and Zoe took her frst strokes unaided and we were all delighted.

There are also two Jacuzzis and a steam room as well as a gym (which we never used ).

After our swim we headed back to our room and bed for Zoe. Jess, Susan and I had a snacky supper and watched a DVD :happytv: before heading to bed too.

Sounds like another good day apart from Stitch's technical problems!! Cafe Mickey sounds good!! :goodvibes

Really enjoyed reading about day 2. Photos of Jessica with Mickey & Friar Tuck are great. Jessica's Dalmatian top is gorgeous. :lovestruc

The food you had at Cafe Mickey sounds lovely - l really like Cafe Mickey.

The Marriot seems like a relaxing place to stay - having a kitchen, living room & extra bedroom would be a big plus, DD (11) would definitely like it there.

Looking forward to reading the next instalment when you get time.
(that reminds me l've still to type up part 2 of my trippie  - will get round to it soon - in the meantime l'm enjoying reading everyone else's trippies :) )

What a lovely day :goodvibes

Tell me about that pasta! I stupidly had a caesar salad to start, then could hardly manage even a decent amount of the Pinocchio pasta and it was soooo nice!!

Lovley photos of Jess. :lovestruc

Prince John is my favourite character - he's so mean! When we were in Cafe Mickey he actually threw out one boy who was determined to keep playing on his Gameboy and ignored him. It was hilarious!
