Easter Parade?

DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THERE IS A SPECIAL EASTER PARADE THIS YEAR AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM ON EASTER SUNDAY? I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT DIFFERENT SITES BUT THERE IS NO INFO IF THE PARADE ON EASTER IS AN ACTUAL EASTER PARADE ..PLEASE ADVISE

During the week before Easter and on Easter, there is an "Easter" parade, which is simply the daily parade at 3 with some Easter floats added. Other than that daily parade, there has never been a special Easter Parade just on Easter. There used to be a more elaborate parade that was shown on Easter Sunday on TV but that was discontinued in 1999 and, in fact, it never actually occurred on Easter as it was taped several weeks before. MK will be packed to the gills on Easter Sunday. Many go there on that day under the impression that something special happens there on Easter Sunday that does not occur the other days of the week during that holiday Season. They are "misinformed" as nothing happens at MK on Easter Sunday that you cannot see any of the days leading up to Easter Sunday.

I believe the Easter Parade portion of the daily parade begins the weekend before Easter weekend. We saw it that Saturday in 2001 & it wasn't all that crowded so we got some nice pictures. This was before the new daily parade, but they will probably do it the same way.

Actually there was an Easter Parade that was performed (and I believe that they do still perform it Easter Sunday and maybe one or two other times prior to that). It was the same parade that was performed on TV, and I have it on a Camcorder tape where we filmed it when watching it on Easter Sunday (which I might add we will NEVER EVER do again. Easter week is TOO crowded down there!) You are correct in that the one that is shown on TV on Easter Sunday is filmed during the weeks prior to Easter so that it can be edited and ready for TV (just as they do the Christmas Parade). I know that they had many cutbacks and I think they only had the Easter Parade 2 times last year. I have not been able to find out if they will have it this year--but I would think that they would still have it at least Easter Sunday.
