Easter candy - what did you buy?

I think these are like the ones you were talking about but I thought they were a different brand?
I can't get the picture to post but they are actually called candy coated marshmallow egg
If you google the image will come up

o_OLol, sorry! I figured out how to do the picture finally. I'm not sure why they doubled up though.

I stopped giving candy and just do a card with money. I even have started doing it for the grandkids.

Oh my goodness! The temptation is everywhere!

Every time we go to Walmart, I have to pass by their Easter displays with shelves and shelves of chocolate bunnies and those yummy Cadbury caramel filled eggs (not the creme, those are nasty). I'm doing good not buying anything, but I know I will get my family something. Probably a chocolate bunny. :)

So many candy holidays, so little resistance to temptation! ;)

My partner and I take takes putting together an easter basket. Last year I got a basket full of different kinds of jelly beans (one of my favorites). This year it is my turn to put the basket together, so I have filled the basket with the Reeses peanut butter eggs, his favorite. I am waiting for Half Price Peeps Day! I stock up on Peeps for the day after Easter. I have always liked them since I was a kid (except the gross pink ones, blah)

Lol I guess we buy a lot! 3 kiddos will get various combos based on their preferences of:
Peanut butter cup eggs
Mini peanut butter cups
Chocolate eggs
Hershey kisses
Skittles
Mike and Ike's
Lollipop
Peeps
Cadbury eggs
Tic tacs
Slim Jim
Gummies
?

For my 19 year old daughter: a package of peeps, a bag of Lindt milk chocolate ball things, some Reeses Pieces and a box of Girl Scout Cookies
For my 13 year old son: a package of skittles, a bag of small Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, a small chocolate bunny and a box of Girl Scout Cookies.

I put the Girl Scout cookies in there for each of them so that they'll leave mine alone (which I will hide in my nightstand)

I bought myself a bag of jelly beans which are gone already.

Then I bought some stuff for 4 easter baskets we made up for a mission we support. I got them jelly beans, a chocolate cross and sixlets. I got more toys than candy for those.

The ds have asked for twix and reeses.

I dont know if I should wait till after easter. We tried that for valentines day and the next day everything was already gone.

Thats about my list, too. DD loves PB eggs, and DS15 likes sweedish fish, so I got those, and DS10 likes Nestle Crunch, so I got those for him. None of them really like jelly beans unless they are Jelly Belly, so I got them each a small box.

And each of them got a chocolate bunny from World's Finest Chocolate - DD's school choir group did a fundraiser last month :)

I got a bunch a crunch bunny (a small one) for DD and a snickers bar bunny for DH... DD is 6 she doesn't get candy for Easter, typically a gift of some sort, a kite, sidewalk chalk, etc.

For DS17, a chocolate bunny, starburst jelly beans, reese's peanut butter cup eggs, and dove dark chocolate eggs. I still need to find him some candy corn - much harder to find than you'd think.
