We have a very Polish Easter here because it's DH's favorite holiday and the meal reminds him of his grandmother.
I get kielbasa from the Polish market and cook it with saurkraut and serve it with beets, horseradish and steamed potatoes. I also have shrimp cocktail and some other vegetables because I hate kielbasa. I pick up a few goodies from Trader Joes for dessert.
. The 4 of us go with DH's brother's family and his uncle to a local Mexican place that has an amazing Easter buffet spread. All the traditional Easter stuff, all the traditional brunch stuff, a bunch of mexican food (enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, nachos, chimis, etc) and then an assortment - ribs, fried chicken, crab, fish, etc. It's impressive, tasty, no clean up. We sit there for a good 2 - 3 hours and talk and eat and have a great time.

So everyone brings "finger foods" for a "snacks potluck dinner". We have been instructed to bring a crudite plate and deviled eggs. Yeah, I love DH's family...
Good thing we will still probably be stuffed from brunch.
