We usually serve the traditional... Turkey, ham , that kinda stuff... Usually by now were all craving turkey after thanksgiving and Christmas.

This year for dessert we are trying to make the tie dye cheesecake from Disney!

Mine will be easy this year. Ham green bean casserole(requested) some kind of potato, salad, rolls

The dessert I am still hunting for a cute one.

I am also stuck trying to come up with ideas. Easter is also my husbands birthday this year and we are hosting 10 people plus our 5, so 15 total. Can't decide I should do the traditional fare, make some of my DH's favourites or switch it up completely and do a different themed menu such as homemade, thai or chinese. My ideas for dessert so far are chocolate walnut fudge, banana cupcakes with lemon icing and mocha almond cake.

we started doing brunch instead of dinner a few years back and love it! I get a honey baked ham, make a crème brulee French toast (which is amazing, and since its make ahead, so easy!), eggs scrambled and deviled, asparagus, tomatoes, and tons of fruit.

I don't do dessert since the French toast is there and since the kids have candy from eggs/baskets. I did see a really yummy looking lemon cheesecake on the cover of southern living, though, that I thought would make a really nice easter dessert if I was doing one.

We used to just go out for dinner on Easter, but it's so much more relaxing to just have dinner at home so that's what we're doing this year. We'll have my Mom out, she doesn't like ham and we had turkey at Christmas so I'm just going to do a pork roast with red potatoes/carrots/celery/onion. Probably some kind of salad, dinner rolls, and not sure yet about dessert. Mom likes peanut butter cake but my recipe makes a sheet size cake and that is just too much for three people unless I give a bunch of it away, so I might do something else, not sure yet. I would love to do brunch, but Mom wouldn't like it. :(

We have a very Polish Easter here because it's DH's favorite holiday and the meal reminds him of his grandmother.

I get kielbasa from the Polish market and cook it with saurkraut and serve it with beets, horseradish and steamed potatoes. I also have shrimp cocktail and some other vegetables because I hate kielbasa. I pick up a few goodies from Trader Joes for dessert.

That sounds so good!!

We make....reservations :rotfl:. The 4 of us go with DH's brother's family and his uncle to a local Mexican place that has an amazing Easter buffet spread. All the traditional Easter stuff, all the traditional brunch stuff, a bunch of mexican food (enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, nachos, chimis, etc) and then an assortment - ribs, fried chicken, crab, fish, etc. It's impressive, tasty, no clean up. We sit there for a good 2 - 3 hours and talk and eat and have a great time.

Since my dad died, my family doesn't get together. And the rest of DH's family gets together somewhere else...but this uncle is never included in that so 4 or so years ago when DH's family hated me, we decided to skip teh drama and make a new tradition!

We are going totally all out southern with stuff I cook almost never. Fried chicken, Mac n cheese, peas, corn, cornbread and banana pudding. Different but it can't fail in my neck of the woods.

Normally we do an Easter brunch with ham and some sides. Dessert would be couple different pies or a cute cake.

This year we are spending Easter weekend in Tucson so I need to find a good place for brunch. Sounds like a new adventure to me.

I am hosting this year for 21 people... eeeek!!! I am doing ham, mashed potatos, green beans , deviled eggs, peas.... and a Samoa Girlscout Cookie bundt cake that I found on Pinterest.

I am also having everyone else bring side dishes and desserts so I am not going crazy with cooking :)

We alwasy do a brunch...so this year I am going to make a french toast cassarole. :)

We have the same thing every year.
Ham with pineapple
Homemade Macaroni and Cheese
Green Beans (NOT the casserole! just lightly steamed)
Corn
Beets
rolls & butter

For desert: chocolate pudding pie in graham cracker crust
apple pie

Not really an exciting or creative menu, but the tradition of what my family likes and expects. I'll also make some chips/dips/raw veggies/deviled eggs to have before we eat the main meal.

Luckily, this year for Easter, I don't have to worry about serving/hosting. We are going out to brunch at a local lodge with my family members. The menu includes:

Carved Baron of Beef with Horseradish
Baked Glazed Pit Ham
Tender Roasted Leg of Lamb with Mint Lamb Jus
Smoked Salmon Platter
Traditional Eggs Benedict
Scrambled eggs
Bacon
Potatoes O’Brien
Omelet Station
Blintz with Strawberry Sauce
Crème Brulee French Toast
Quinoa Salad with Honey, Toasted Almonds and Craisins
Cauliflower Salad with Spiced Raisins, Chickpeas and Curry Vinaigrette
Tossed Green Salad
Mediterranean Orzo Salad
Vegetable Cheese Tray
Fresh Seasonal Vegetables
Fruit Salad
Assorted Breads
Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce
Chocolate Cake
Carrot Cake

In the afternoon, we are going to SIL and BIL's house for an egg hunt and "dinner" with DH's family. SIL and BIL have decided, over the last few years, that they want to host, but don't want to have to cook a meal. :confused3 So everyone brings "finger foods" for a "snacks potluck dinner". We have been instructed to bring a crudite plate and deviled eggs. Yeah, I love DH's family... Good thing we will still probably be stuffed from brunch.

For dessert one year, I made a Peanut Butter Brownie Parfait that everyone loved.

It's kind of small, but here's a picture of it (from the web, not mine). Ignore the ham and dinner plate. ;)

We do brunch at my house - we'll have about 20 people. So far, I have cheesecake coming from my DDIL, deviled eggs and Mexican dip from my niece. I'm planning on fixing a ham. My sisters and I will figure out the meal this Saturday. We'll definitely have fruit and some sort of brunch-type egg frittata or quiche.

And See's candy!

We normally have lunch at my parents' house after church on Easter Sunday. I've talked to my mom, & I think our menu is going to be the following:

Ham
Hashbrown Casserole
Baked Beans
Green Beans
Corn on the Cob
Vinegar Slaw
Raw Veggie Platter
Deviled Eggs
Rolls

Carrot Cake
Strawberry Lemonade Cake
some kind of cute Easter-y dessert for the kids
