Easter black out dates LIFTED ???

I leave in 3 days and now I see the black out dates have been lifted ??? Can I still get the gift card cash back even though I'am allready booked ??

You can call and ask. There are only so many room/room types allocated for each of the promotions. You may have to be willing to change resorts or change your room category in order to get the gift card.

Not sure if you have a package or a room only reservation. I'm assuming you have a package since you are asking about the gift card promo. You may be changed a change fee. Any changes made to packages less than 45 days out are often assessed a fee especially if the change is in your favor (i.e. Disney usually waives the change fee *if* you are upgrading and giving them more money).

Tough - I'm not sure you can change a package that close to your arrival. Call NOW and ask!!!

BTW, you should be able to check availability online with this package. If you see it, then call and have it changed... You might need to get guest services involved if the frontline CM doesn't know how to or says it can't be done...

they did lift blackout dates! I was just coming to post that if you were travelling during spring break and couldn't get a discount before, check back. I got a very pleasant phone call from my TA today. We booked in January for 4/4 - 4/11. When we booked there were no discounts to be had for those dates. My TA called today to tell me that she had just double checked our dates and found that she could add a code and had just saved us just over $1000. Made my day especially since we had already paid in full and will be getting a refund. I had already dealt with the fact that we weren't going to get a discount for this trip so it was a very pleasant surprise!

I agree! I was checking the passholder site yesterday for someone and was shocked to see the lowest rates ever for a value resort right through Easter weekend. Been an AP holder since 1994 and this was a first for me. Though you could not pay me to visit during Easter, but it was interesting see this. It says alot. But yet the parks are packed according to recent posts.
