Easter basket at Resort?

We are travelling to FT Wilderness Resort the Saturday before Easter, and I had read that you could assemble an Easter basket at the store there for your child. We were thinking this would be easier than taking it with us and trying to hide it from the children.

Has anyone ever done this? I imagine it's expensive. I found a link for Peggys Creations, and she will deliver to the resort and also has Disney merchandise.

Any suggestions? This is our first trip to Disney, and I wanted to make sure I got something magicaly for our children, DD's 7 and 11 to honor the occasion.

We were there last year right up until Easter (drove home that Saturday). It seemed like each resort gift shop was able to create Easter baskets for you, with stuff you pick to put in. So you can make it as $$ as you want. We ended up putting one together at the AsMo gift shop, just in case we had to stop overnight Sat on the way home. Each shop had some made up, and you could also do your own.

I thought Disney of course did a great job. They had tons of candy in a 'Easter Egg Hunt' and kids filled there bags with goodies. I recall DW brought some candy just in case Easter Bunny didnt come but thought they got their fil just with Easter Egg Hunt.

Does anyone know a beginning price on the baskets? I'm sure the price can go up as high as you want.
Also, how does the "Bunny" deliver it to your room (or in our case... campsite)?

We were there last year over Easter(be ready, quite crowded!). We were at WL and I think the Stores would probably run about $75 or so. I am way too cheap. I gathered things here and there, including sales at the Disney store online, dollar store, etc. and then mailed them to the resort. We even hid eggs inthe room. I used the plastic ones- some with money to spend and some with pennies for the the penny press. My kids were equally thrilled with both! I put new Disney bathing suits in each basket. Total for both kids with shipping about $50. I also don't have alot of time but this was pretty easy. I did pick a couple pins & things the kids had wanted in the store to add.

Go to orientaltrading.com and put together your own set of baskets (or bags), easter grass, candy, small toys, etc. Even luau-themed stuff for those staying at the Poly. Take the box they ship it in and UPS it to your hotel 5 or 6 days before you leave (check UPS for delivery schedules) to be held for your arrival.

I was at Disney last easter and the baskets could get expensive as you wanted but if you just bought the cheaper items you could do it cheaper. We Stayed at POFQ. I seem to spend alot on a easter basket. Even he cheap toys at up quickly plus Disney Dollars. We will be home for Eater this year but wil be leaving 4/23 to 5/3 at Saratoga DVC owners.

Last year we were at CSR for Easter. I picked up some great plastic bowls with mickey heads on them at World of Disney. (Had to make sure my husband had the kids busy in another part of the store.)

I filled them with a toy and treats for each of the kids. They are big cereal type bowls and the kids still use them now. Just one more idea to throw out there...
