Hi,

We have a trip to Disney planned for Easter weekend. Unfortunately, I didn't realize Easter was in March this year when I booked the trip.

How crowded is it going to be? Did I make the hugest mistake ever?

Thanks.

PACKED!!! Easter is about as busy as WDW gets, only second to Christmas week, you know when they shut down the parks because they are full.

It's Disney, so I'm sure ya'll will still have fun, but you need to get to the parks early, use EMH and Fastpasses and be prepared for the very large crowds.

:scared1: We were there last year the weekend of Palm Sunday and that was packed I mean elbow to elbow. My two littlest were 7 & 9 and I got a double stroller for them so I didn't have to worry about keeping my hands on them. I can't imagine Easter. But on the plus side the weather is perfect!! Like PP get there early use fast pass get everything you want to do early then get out of dodge.

p.s. As I preview this post...it seems 7 & 9 is too old for a stroller but they are little in stature and I just worried about them getting lost in the crowd.

It will definitely be crowded but as long as you prepare yourself for that you'll be absolutely fine. Just plan to stand in line for longer than usual. Make sure you have priority seating arrangements. You'll be fine! Have a fun trip.

To make it worse this year, with how early Easter is it falls during many schools' spring break.

Easter is mobbed. We have gone many times on Easter and it is almost unbearable. Just be prepared. My best suggestion for you is be at the parks in the morning when they open, utilize extra magic hours and have patience.

We've gone at Easter for years and love it. Yes, it's crowded and takes extra planning--particularly with dinner reservations. We always hit the parks extremely early...sometimes they open even earlier than announced....and then come back late at night.

My dh and I went to Epcot the day before a cruise in 2003. It was the day before Easter. We hardly waited on any lines and could not believe how empty it was!!! Everyone gave you good advice! I am sure it will turn out fine!
