Easter 2014 Is this flight price good?

We are trying to arrange a holiday next April 2014. Not been since Dec 2009 when prices were so much cheaper. I can get indirect flights on the 3rd April - 17th April for £635 return inc car hire/insurance etc.

Should I wait until May to check out the flight prices myself or should I book these ones through a travel agent. They said that they are very confident of the prices, but not sure what to do.

I have no experience with car hire so can't advise on how that element comes into play. For flights only, if it works out to under £550-600 per person, I'd personally be very happy with that, considering that I've been happy to pay £500 ish indirect in off peak season

Are you stuck to exact school hol dates? This year we are going a few days later (Easter Monday) for 2 weeks. Going those 2 days later saved us £200pp on flights.

Is the price quoted fixed? some agents give an estimate before the 11 months then reserve the right to increase, I have read many threads over the years of this happening, some being told the price were fixed but still increasing later, get it in writing.

Is it fully inclusive insurance? you don't want to arrive in Orlando to be sold the insurance you need.

Just checked our school dates for next Easter, they don't break up until 11th April 2014 so if your dates are not Easter school hols then prices should be lower.

confident ? this means that they do not guarantee those prices.

If you choose to book with them, be sure to read the T&C and most of all check any cancellation fees.

Being panaroid, I always see the worst case scenario. And this scenario is that they raise the price once the 11 months mark is reached. You won't book a fare/class but they will argue that you signed up for a non-refundable, non exchangable fare. Therefore, pay or lose it all.

I'm paranoid, but it saved me quite a few times.

I'd wait for the prices to be released.
