After our second trip to WDW last year we said we would take a break and try somewhere new...Maybe an all inclusive trip to Mexico??!...Well, i've been looking around at prices for Aug/Sept 2010 and it's not much less than the whole Florida experience with tickets etc (staying off site)....So...I think we're swinging towards another trip!!

Here's my argument for justifying return trips...
+If it makes your happy and everytime you go you enjoy it as much as before why not!?
+Loads of people have repeat holidays..some go Centre Parcs every year, some always have a pool holiday in spain etc
+You feel like you do sooo much compared to sitting by a pool and eating all day long at the pool side bar.

So why the hell not!?....YEEAAH :cool1:

The current plan is to save, save, save. Flights seem more expensive than when we went last year and i'd like to stay in a better hotel (we stayed in the Quality Inn International....very basic and rooms could do with a spruce up). I'd also like to rent a few DVC points and stay for a few days on site at Disney. To be honest the first time we went we stayed in a villa which was much better than a hotel, i liked having a real size fridge etc so does anyone know of studio apartments that are better suited for 2people unlike the villas which are really for families???

Finally, is there anything exciting happen that time of year that we should try and plan for? We went to MNSSHP last year which was amazing fun! Do they do anything for Easter?

Thanks as always...i look forward to spending more time on here yet again

My dad has just come back from the Lake Buena Vista resort and Spa which are self contained apartments within a hotel setting. He said how good it was and if you check out Expedia you may be able to get really good deals.

Not sure of Disney do anything at Easter as never visited then but hopefully somebody will be able to give you more info :thumbsup2

I like this because Many churches hold special services on Easter Sunday, which celebrate the Jesus Christ's resurrection after his crucifixion. Many people also decorate eggs. These can be hard boiled eggs that can be eaten later, but may also be model eggs made of plastic, chocolate, candy or other materials. It is also common to organize Easter egg hunts. Eggs of some form are hidden, supposedly by a rabbit or hare. People, especially children, then search for them. In some areas, Easter egg hunts are a popular way for local businesses to promote themselves or may even be organized by churches.

The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is on and it is quite breathtaking to see all those topiaries and beautiful gardens - even if you don't have a great appreciation for gardening. ;) They also do an Easter Egg hunt for the kids which they do in stages for ages. It is really pretty with all the spring theming - very busy too, so I would recommend a good touring plan, even if just used as a basic framework to structure your day. Oh and the upside, greatly extended park hours! :)

We are also planning a trip for April next year, we may well cross over with Easter so will be interested in what people say for Easter.

I am concerned about the crowd levels but DH insists that we don't need to worry about doing everything as we have been so many times before!:rotfl:

my next trip is for easter 2011, just waiting on flight prices now, the prices virgin holidays were soo high, we hope VA are lower, they was fully booked anyway for the easter weeks already for flydrives @ VH.

Isn't Easter real late in April next year? This could spread the "Easter crowd" out quite a bit in that a lot of schools will have their spring break early in April rather than linking it to Easter. Based on past experience, I think our school district will have their break the first week in April rather than wait until late in the month.

Still, traditionally, the weeks wrapping Easter have been awful!

You mention there are just the two of you? You can always "rent" the mini-fridge for the room if you want to keep costs down and stay on-site at WDW.

Easters at the end of April ~ here the kids have the 2 weeks prior to that off, my lot break up 8th was looking at flights for 9th and they were rammed no seats left on vh flydrives!, either side was getting busy too and v expensive even for easter we went april 2008 and it wasnt that expensive!

After much thought and calculating of the figures we have decided to return to WDW for what will be our 5th trip with our last trip back in 2005.

We were in WDW over the Easter on our last trip and thought that it was going to be extremely busy. However it was not as bad as we had feared. (Although like most others off here I planned our trip in fine detail)

Like last time we are again flying into Miami via a Virgin Fly drive as this worked out nearly £1000 cheaper. The saving out ways the 230 mile trip from Miami to Orlando. It will also allow us to spend our last night in South beach :cool1:

We have booked another villa this time at Vista Park Resort. The villa is a 5 bedroom 5 bathroom with a pool which we will be sharing with another family (their first trip to WDW :woohoo:) The cost of the villa is £1100 for the two weeks so that is just £600 per family. This is ideal for us as although we love Disney it is always great to escape for a few hours each day for a few hours relax and a quick dip in the pool................before heading back for seeing each park in the evening)

I'm just getting back into the planning mode
