Hi All,

We are booked on the Magic for Easter 2003 (I believe that is the 20th), Eastern Caribbean cruise. There are 4 of us, DH, myself, and our 2 boys who are 10 and 8. We are from Massachusetts.
Anyone else out there?

We are on the Magic April 19-26th too! It is me, dh, and two dd who will be 8 and 5 at the time. We have been on one Disney cruise so far and only for 3 days. My dds are very excited to go on a 7 night cruise! My dh and I are leaving in 3 days to go on the Wonder by ourselves for our 12th Anniversary. Then we will be going on the Wonder as a family January 2nd with other extended family members. Needless to say, we had a outstanding time on our last cruise and are "hooked"! I don't think a day goes by without some mention of the Disney Cruise!
Is this your first cruise with Disney? If not, did your boys like the club? Have you been to the eastern Carribean before? My dh and I have been to St. Thomas before and enjoyed it.
Just curious, most disers don't go on cruises during peak holiday times due to the prices. I have to because I'm a teacher (2nd grade) and can't get off more than 2 days each year except for the prime holiday times. Is it just because you don't want your kiddos to miss school? If so, I certainly can respect that!!! Have you given any thought to excursions? We are leaning towards the Golden Eagle Catamaran in St. Martin (sp?) because I have heard such great things about it but I'm not sure if my youngest dd will want to do it since I heard the ride can get quite rocky at times. At St. Thomas we will probably visit Coral World, take a trip to the top of the tallest Mountain, and visit a beach. If you haven't been before, St. John is a very beautiful place to go. It is definately worth a trip over there, especially if your family snorkels or skuba dives. If I can get my dds to snorkel by then, I wouldn't hesitate to go there myself. Well, enough for now. I am interested in your "story". :D

Hi Ashley,

Yes, the reason we chose Easter was because I really did not want my boys to miss a week of school. My older son is in 5th grade and their is a lot of work. It would not be fair to him or his teacher.

Anyway, it is our first cruise (even my husband an mine), and we cannot wait. We will be on deck 7 where are you? Also, where are you from.

We will be on deck 6 in a cat. 6 room (verandah). Which category room are you in? Deck 7 is a nice one. Your family will love the cruise. Like I said before, we have only been on a three day cruise and it was definately too short! We are from Michigan.
By the way, Easter time is a great time to go. The weather should be beautiful! It was wonderful in the Bahamas last April and we also went to St. Thomas in April and loved it. Not too hot or humid yet. Temps in the 80's.
