easiest way to WL from GF after Wishes?

hop on monorail to Contemp then boat to WL?
or is there a quicker way?
DS13 & I are planning our first night dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe then using their pool (DVCers) think maybe we should stay for Wishes

That would work. As would monorail (or launch) to MK and boat to WL.

It depends on what time wishes is that night. If it is a 10pm show, you will need to take the launch or rail from GF to MK then cruiser or bus to WL. The launch from CR to WL stops running at 10.

I could be wrong, but I believe there is a boat from GF to WL. I am staying at GF next week and have dinner PS for WCC one night...according to the transporation whiz at Our Laughing Place the boat launch from GF to WL is 29 minutes and is shorter than doing any monorail/boat launch combo.

Ourlaughingplace's transporation whiz is about 95% right. HOWEVER, this is part of the 5%.

There no longer is a boat from GF to WL(I think it stopped sometime around 1990.

You can take the boat from GF to MK (stopping at the Polynesian on the way) and then the boat from MK to WL.

I was looking forward to that boat ride.

Guess I'll have to go with the Monorail to MK and boat ride to WL combo. Thanks for saving me the embarassment of asking for the boat to WL next week. My hubby would never let me live that down given all the research I've put into this trip.
