Easiest Way to Add Hopper Day of?

Hi! We will be there this weekend (yay!) and currently have 1-park-per-day tickets. If we decide on Saturday that we would like to add hopper, what is the easiest way to do that? My googling kept bringing me to advice that I would have to call a ticket line, but surely that's not right? - can I make the change same day on the app or on the website?

Please be aware of your park reservations—one-day tickets have a different bucket than hoppers. Make sure you’ll be able to make hopper reservations before you switch.

I'm pretty sure you will have to call in. I just did this a couple weeks ago for a visit also this weekend (yes!). Had the summer special 3-day tickets and decided to upgrade them to hoppers. The app and website wouldn't seem to let me do that without calling in, plus the reservations, as stated, are different so the last thing I wanted was to mess something up. So I called in and got through pretty quickly and was able to switch them out to hoppers and also confirmed the starting park reservations were available before making the changes. Maybe not ideal compared to being able to change in the app, but didn't take too long.

Thanks for the info! I have confirmed that, at least as of now, there are hopper reservations available with our planned starting parks on both days... so I guess I just have to decide now whether to just go for it, or wait and decide whether to call on Saturday. @Aspencreek , how long would you guesstimate the process of calling and switching took overall?

Couldn't have been more than 15 minutes. About 5 mins on hold and 10 to go through the upgrade with the agent.

I would just decide now and do it now if you want to. Reservations might be gone by tomorrow (it’s a busy holiday weekend). I’d also not want to mess with that on my first park day.

Also remember that when you add a hopper to a multi-day ticket, the price is the same if you do it on the first day of the ticket or on any day later in the ticket. You can’t add the hopper to only some days of a multi-day ticket; it applies to all days of the multi-day ticket regardless of when you add it on. So if you think you want it for some days, add it on day one (or better yet, at the time of purchase since prices can increase after you buy your tickets).
