Easiest/Fastest Way from AoA to POFQ

Have a room only at Art of Animation the day before transferring to the French Quarter. I have to check-in to the FQ to activate my package (tickets, meals, etc.). What is the easiest/fastest way to get from AoA to POFQ? As I have to go to POFQ anyway, will be taking my luggage with me, instead of waiting for bell services to transfer it. It's $67 more to stay at the FQ for the first night versus AoA.

Correct. Luggage is not permitted on Disney resort-park-DTD buses and you would not want to mess with the transfers involved at that time of morning even if you could take the bus. A cab will be quick and probably $15 or less (not including tip). There should be cabs waiting out front at AoA and someone out front will be able to call one over for you.
