Easiest 2 bedroom lock offs to book on Christmas?

What are some 2 bedroom lock off that is often available at 8am to book at 7 months on 12/23-12/26 (Christmas)? Thinking about Boulder Ridge, Copper Creek, Beach Club, Bay Lake Tower, and Boardwalk.

At 7 months for one of the most popular times of the year? Not sure any of those on your list will be open (but you never know until you check). More likely you might find something at one of the larger resorts like AKL, OKW, or SSR. The biggest problem with the lock-offs is that the studio portion is likely to be booked separately for less points (and they go faster), making the 2BR lock-offs tough to get at times.

Sadly all of your first choices are some of the hardest the system to book. Of your above options you will have the best chance with BLT preferred view.

There is a real possibility of not getting anything at all or getting SSR/OKW

Don't give up hope. Out of the holiday days, I've found the night of the 24th and 25th not too difficult and have seen availability pop up quite often. BLT being the more frequently sighted. Between the relatively high points and many people wanting to be home for those particular nights. I think you have a good shot with waitlisting and stalking. Just keep a back up that you can live with.

Book what you can get and waitlist what you want. That's always my advice when working within the 7 month window especially at high-demand times. Even though Christmas is the highest points season it is still very popular especially at the close-to-park resorts because these are the busiest days for the parks all year.
